In reality the minute hands as the hour hand moves. So, students need to be informed that this example does not have that so we need to move both hands.

That's what I have to do also when I teach this lesson. As with many graphics with Smartboard or found online both of the hands will not move at the same time. I have this same problem with the small Judy clocks my students use for hands on practice. Thanks for your interest in this lesson! Please let me know if I can help in any way!

This would be best for a grade 2 or 3 room. Not very effective for grade 5.

I have used this for summer school for 5th graders and it was very easily adapted. Sorry you were disappointed! Thanks for the feedback! :)

I downloaded this lesson because I wanted to use it on my SmartBoard and not use the textbook. This lesson was well-done and will serve exactly the purpose for which I wanted it. While I could have created a similar lesson myself, it saved me time and that alone was worth the $5 price. Thanks for making this lesson available.

I was disappointed after I realized what I bought. I agree with Daleb(c), you don't get much for the price.

I have found I am adding a great deal to the demonstration. The overview does not give enough information for students to apply to themselves. Adding more examples of how this system of government actually impacts them will help them better understand the concepts. It is a great summary, But I was looking for more details and applicable knowledge.

Thanks for the comments! Just to clarify, I use my smartboard lessons to introduce concepts to students. What is in this notebook lesson is what students use for their notes. As a class, we discuss how the branches apply to their lives and much more information. Everything I do with my students during a lesson is not on the smartboard.
