Scooting is just a game. Put the scoot cards all around the room, I just tape them up in a big circle around the room so the kids spread out. They will all start at different numbers and scoot to the next number when they need to. You can time it if you want but I usually let them set their pace. When hey have an answer for all of the numbers they are done. I usually make a rule that no more than 3 at a card at once. Hopes this helps!

Kelly... it's me, AGAIN! :-) I just googled to see if I could find a solution to this... and I found an advanced printing setting to "print as image" that worked on the the Election lesson! Whoo hoo! so don't email for now; I'll try this at home too with the dictionary lesson and hopefully it will work. Still strange though, not sure why it did that! Thanks for your help and quick responses!

Hi Kelly... I tried to download and print out the Election lesson at school (I printed the 1st version at home), and it was better -- not jibberish, but none of the lowercase letter "e" printed, on any page. It's so odd! I did read about the blurry, but it's not that at all. I would think maybe it had something to do with the font, but the headings are printing out correctly. We can't color print at school, so I would like to print the dictionary lesson at home to get the cute colored borders on the cards. Could you email me both the election and dictionary lessons? Please help! :-) I just purchased the election year package and digging through the dictionary. They look fabulous but then I went to print and most -- not all -- the text was jibberish! The headings and graphics printed fine, but most of the text is random numbers and letters. It is like this on the election book, word search, the directions page for the dictionary, and the first 2 pages of questions for the dictionary lesson, but not the 3rd page. Odd!!! Any thoughts?

No idea! I know tpt has a section if things come out blurry or smeared that you need to update something on your computer. If that's not what happened I have no idea!! Hmm... I can try sending through email and maybe that will work?? Give me your email if you would like to try that! I've sold quite a few of those and haven't heard any issues! Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher here in Texas. I have a question for you. Does your school use CSCOPE for curriculum? If so, how long? Our district just rolled it out for us to begin using it. I love it, but many of my colleagues are overwhelmed and do not like it at all. Did anyone on your faculty have the same problems? Can you tell me how your school overcame the issues? Of course these questions are assuming you do use it. I really appreciate any help you can give me.
