This is my 7th year as a classroom teacher. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade (including a multi-age classroom). This year, I will be teaching a dual-language class (Spanish/English) and I am really excited. I have a strong passion for reading, writing, and math and I am always looking for different ways to make learning both engaging and meaningful.
I have a direct approach to teaching. My lessons start with a teaching point - the objective of the lesson/what students will be specifically learning. Student engagement, collaboration, and involvement are what I am looking for in each one of my lessons.

I was born and raised in Ecuador, South America. I moved to the United States when I was 18. While I obtained bachelor degree in business administration and later worked in the private sector for a few years, deep inside I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. I returned to school and obtained both my teaching credentials and a master degree in education - I have not looked back ever since (well...a couple of times). My teaching journey has taken me many places, and this year I am moving to a dual-language school which is the main reason I decided to start my TpT store (it has been really hard to find well written Spanish resources, so I am here to create my own and share them with you).
