The conduction and convection coloring pages are phenomenal, so I know the radiation page will be awesome as well. I look forward to seeing it. Thanks for the great products. Check out my heat transfer notes and my calvin and hobbes assessment. You might like those.

Funny you should ask that...I am currently working on that! I'm also working on one that compares all three types of heat transfer.

Do you have any coloring pages for the other types of heat transfer?

Thanks!

Hi Dianna,

I have one for convection (just search under "convection coloring;" I don't know why it doesn't show up on my conduction page as "other products." I'm finishing up one on radiation, too...that should be up by the end of this weekend (April 22).

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been a middle school science teacher for over 20 years. I have taught all levels of science including a marine science class. I'm also a fluent Spanish speaker and occasionally teach Spanish 1, and in the past, I've taught earth, physical, and life science in Spanish as a bilingual educator. I'm our school's lead teacher for the Ocean Guardians School program. I also enjoy my work as an illustrator and artist. I'm currently working on illustrating a book.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Hands-on, project based, across curricular areas, appealing to the multiple intelligences, technology and outdoor education embracing, and most of all...fun!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love learning new things and helping kids to learn new things, especially in the realm of science. I have a huge interest in the environment and hope that my students will carry with them a strong sense of stewardship for our planet. I spend a lot of time outdoors, researching and finding out new things about what I teach, and volunteer for a local organization dedicated to the wellness of the oceans. I aspire to be a scientific illustrator when I retire from teaching.
