My Teaching Experience

I have taught economics and other social studies for 42 years in public and private schools and the last 12 years as an adjunct in colleges. I currently work full time at a private school, teaching AP Macroeconomics and Regular Economics.

My Teaching Style

For lectures, I use the PowerPoint with a Smartboard and let the students get involved by letting them use the Smartboard for filling in answers for things like answers for money creation and graphing all the graphs that economics students have to do. I prefer to teach kind of like a stand-up comedian.

Honors/Awards/Shining Teaching Moment

I am a college board consultant, a former economics grader of FRQs and a "Teacher of the Year" in public school in 1995 and private school in 2003 and 2008.
