Sorry to resend this question, but I did not get a response. I thought maybe it got lost is all of the other questions.

Could you please revise the supplementary angles worksheet? Item #20 has the statement "Who has 136 degrees?" on it. Also, do I have to buy the supplementary and complimentary black and white worksheet if I have already purchased both in color? I tried printing them in black and white as you suggested, but the backgrounds are too dark to print out nicely. Would love for you to email me the black and white versions. Please let me know. Thanks so much!

MrsLy re: I have who has game for measuring angles with a protractor
Hi Kevin!
Totally want to use this for my Gr. 5 class this week. Just had a question: how exactly does the game work? Once I had one card to each student, and they measure and fill in their angle...what's next? Do they all wander around the room trying to find the other person? How do they go about finding the other angle mentioned on their card?

Thanks!

Kevin Wilda  (TpT Seller)
Sorry for the late response. I'm moving to a new computer and it has been a hassle. What I do is tell them to measure the angle and try to be as precise as they can. I didn't want to make the picture too close to the same so each card should be at least 7 degrees apart from each other. You start the game by picking a person at random to read the bottom of their card. Tell the class that if they hear an angle measurement that is within 4 degrees up or down from the one just mentioned then it is you that they are referring to. The game continues to "loop" around the room reading the bottom of a card and then answering it by reading the top of the next card. The person starting the game will be the one to end the game. I hope this helps. I have several of these games I sell by the way. If you are still unsure just send me another question.

I am a homeschool mom to a 9th grader- we need all of the help we can get in Geometry - Not my strong suit at all either.
the books do not show how to do the work either. My son failed this in public school. We need the credit, but I need worksheets with answers to be able to track progress. I am willing to buy what we need to understand the subject, Worksheets, Quizzes and Tests etc. and use Video tutorials to understand the material. So far, we are not finding the worksheets, tests and quizzes we need - Your thoughts?

I could but it would take me quite awhile. I have the same issue with one of my classes that has 30. What I do is have 6 of them do the game in pairs and then take turns who is in pairs.

Kevin,

The alien pic looks fine when I open it. However, when I view a print preview or actually print, it doesn't. Some of the text is outside the margins/printable area on the page. If you don't mind, please email it to me. Do I need to do anything special when I print it?

Thanks for making this fun stuff! I grew up here in Blackwell. I bet our paths have crossed before.

Hi Kevin. I'm having touble with your Coordinate Plane Alien Pic. When I print, some gets left off because it is too large for the page/margins. The left margin is the worst, not all the x coordinates are there. On the right margin, the coordinates are there, but the 2 & 3 are missing after the word "Shape." Is there a way to make it smaller so that it will all fit within the margins & print better?

Thanks,

Hi Jennifer it is good to hear from you. I'm not sure what is going on with your graph. Does it look ok when you open it? I just opened it and it look ok on my end. I could email it to you again if you think that would help. By the way I was born and raised in Perry! Let me know if you want me to put it in an email to you. My students are crazy over these graphs and that is why I have created so many of them.

Absolutely! That is exactly what I do with my classes. I thought I would put it out there with numbers and that way people that were interested and capable could do that and those not could use it at is. Thanks for the question.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Teaching is a career change for me. I spent almost 20 years in the engineering field. I am now going into my 9th year of teaching math in the middle school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style is hands-on. I love using manipulatives and the smartboard. 95% of what we do in class has been created and designed by me.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Yet to be added

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Associates in drafting and design from Northern Oklahoma College. Bachelor's degree from University of Central Oklahoma.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I can create most any type of worksheet. I love designing the graphs where students plot the points, connect them and a design is created. If I haven't already made what you want let me know and I will create it for you! Smartboard lessons are another personal favorite of mine and I have several for sale.
