rob6988 re: Jeopardy-Style Review Game of the American Revolution
Hi Kim,
I can't figure out how to play the game. I click on a point value and it takes me to a question, but from there if I click on the slide I just go to another question. Is there a way that it would take me back to the first slide so another square could be chosen? Also, are the answers on the power point? Thank you

It's one poster that shows why punctuation is important in a humorous way. Once you download it, you can make as many copies as you want.

Denise Carter's Smarty BunchTM
Hi, I just became a member yesterday. I have my own educational consulting business as well as being a full time Reading/Math Skills Specialist. I wanted to know if you are interested in my Presidents song? and I have a States song that my 4th grade daughter used instead of the nifty fifty they taught her at school. She learned mine it is in ABC order too, but she liked it so much she taught everyone in class. If you get a chance check out my 2 youtube videos Denise Carter's Smarty Bunch oh and congratulations on Teacher of the Year!

It's one of my products under games. It's called LINKS Review Game and Instructions to Play, and it's only $0.50. You can set up your own LINKS power point template by setting up a 5x5 table on a slide, and numbering them 1-5. Then you can fill in the boxes with whatever colors the teams choose as they answer questions correctly. I usually do this to review for a test, and I orally present the questions. It's quick and easy.

Do you have other word wall cards like these for sale?

Kim Andersen  (TpT Seller)
There are 14 terms and definitions: geography, globe, latitude, longitude, physical features, cardinal points, intermediate points, compass (rose), continents, oceans, hemispheres, landforms, equator, and prime meridian.
I don't have any other word walls on sale right now, but I'll work on it! :) Thank you,
Kim

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 5th grade for 9 years. I LOVE teaching American History! I have also taught math and reading, but social studies is my favorite.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am very hands-on, and strongly believe in creating an environment that is exciting to all five senses of the body. My room frequently and dramatically changes as we work our way through American history. I try to keep my students on their toes...keep them guessing as to what's going to happen next time.

GISD Teacher of the Year 2011

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I lived my whole life in Georgetown, Texas except for the four years I was in Denton, Texas where I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2002 with a degree in education grades 1-8. I also have been trained as a History Alive coach.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I live in Walburg, Texas, just down the road from Georgetown, and teach at Cooper Elementary. I have been blessed to be able to be departmentalized and just teach social studies for the past three years. I have been married for six years to my all-time crush, J.C. We haven't been blessed with children yet, but we do have two Chihuahuas named Boomer and Bandit. The verse that continues to speak to me, and I would like to share with you is Psalm 28:7, "The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him with song."
