TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching fifth grade for since I got my first teaching license in Indiana in 2006 and I still LOVE it!!!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am passionate about teaching both math and science, so I am thrilled to find ways to use STEM challenges to integrate science, technology, engineering and math topics.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I earned my BS in Elementary Education from Indiana University in 2006. I am currently working on my masters in Methods and Curriculum with a concentration in Science.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

When I'm not teaching, I'm creating... I love sewing, scrapbooking, photography, home decorating, and designing new math and science lessons. Yes, that's right. Much of my "free time" is spent "working". But it's hard to think of it as work when it's what I LOVE so much!
