Hi Kimberly: I just purchased your Community Helpers unit. I was wondering if there was any way that you could add 3 other community helpers to just the little book that the children make. In our curriculum, we teach construction workers, farmers, and a chef. I really like the little book that the children make and would like to add these helpers. Thanks so much!

I unfortunately don't have clipart for those helpers, but I can add pages to the book if you want that says "A construction is a helper in our community." and just leave the picture blank so your kids could draw them. Would that work? Let me know and I will make those for you.

I'm so sorry it's still printing too light. Unfortunately, the lake, hills and plains are clip art pictures I purchased from ScrappinDoodles and I can't edit them to make them darker. I tested it on my printer and they were lighter than the other pictures but I can still see them. So sorry I couldn't help you. :(

You laminate and cut up the cards. The person with the start cards goes first saying, "Who has rainy?" The person with the card that says "I have rainy" would go next asking "Who has cloudy?" Then the cloudy person would go and so on until the last person goes. Hope that makes sense...let me know if it doesn't! Thanks so much for your purchase!

Kindergarten by Design (TpT Seller)
Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher here in Texas. I have a question for you. Does your school use CSCOPE for curriculum? If so, how long? Our district just rolled it out for us to begin using it. I love it, but many of my colleagues are overwhelmed and do not like it at all. Did anyone on your faculty have the same problems? Can you tell me how your school overcame the issues? Of course these questions are assuming you do use it. I really appreciate any help you can give me.

Is there anyway you could make a computer one for the schedule? That is the only one missing. I see you have that for centers, but we don't have technology in our rooms. It is a special class for us. Unfortunately I only have PDF reader and no Microsoft Word either to make my own :/

Several students said to save for a car. We talked about saving money for college and also to buy a house. Some kids just wrote down they wanted to save for a particular toy or gadget they wanted to buy. I also mentioned saving money in case you have an emergency and need extra money.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am currently a fifth-year kindergarten teacher. My first year I taught a K/1 multi-age class. Now I loop with my kids, getting them in kindergarten and teaching them through first.
MY TEACHING STYLE
Hands-on learning and student-centered! I do a lot of small groups in order to differentiate to my students' needs. Of course, we also have a lot of fun! :) Lots of singing, dancing, arts and crafts!
