TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught for twenty-five years within a public school district in Western New York. During this time I have worked as a Special Education Teacher and have also taught Kindergarten, Third and Sixth Grade. I spent six years out of the classroom working with new teachers as a full-time Mentor Teacher. This coming school year will be my third year at Sixth Grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Students need to be actively engaged with content and curriculum.

I have taken various professional development sessions and courses throughout the past twenty years and spend my time reading about best practices in the classroom.
