I checked out the PDF files that accompanied it, but it doesn't say how to get them on my mac.I I'm trying to get the accented characters that are on page 4 of pdf named KGTEACHERSHELPERS map. Usually on my mac, to get an accented letter I type opt+e plus the letter I want accented. It's not working with that step. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for the free font! It's perfect for 1st grade. I'm having a little trouble with it. I hit the space bar for lines, but it only one line will print. I made a writing prompt and filled the page with lines, but it will only print the prompt and one blank line. Is there a trick?

We are using Windows XP. The only buttons that appear when I click on the selected unzipped font are "done" and "print". Do you suggest I try the link to defont.com? As you can see, I really would like access to these fonts, especially the lined primary so I am not ready to give up yet.

Sure, not a problem! As long as you do something and don't resell the font itself OR just save the letters as png files or something... you're fine! Even using the letters on alphabets or something as fine as long as you do something- make them glittery, chipboard, whatever! :) Thanks for asking!

I wonder if you would be able to create a font similar to the Janda Polka Dot Punch, but using letters that are similar to traditional comic sans or print bold? Hi! First, what operating system are you using? XP? Vista? Windows 7?
You need to get the TTF file to your C:/windows/fonts folder.
If you have a hard time you might check YouTube and put in "installing font windows 7 tutorial" or whatever operating system you are using. There are excellent tutorials that will show you visually exactly how to get the font where you need it to be.
After doing that, on older operating systems, you will need to restart your computer for them to show up in Word. At the very least, restart your Word to test.

Kindergarten Squared (TpT Seller) re: Commercial Font License- SINGLE FONT
So just to make sure. I have purchased 3 single font licenses. Now I just pick ANY 3 of your fonts that I love, and download the "personal" version, but they will each technically be "commercially licensed" because I bought 3??? I hope my thinking is straight. And at any time I want more fonts, just pick the ones I want, download the personal version, and buy that many more single commercial licenses. THanks! I LOVE your fonts!

Adventures In Teaching (TpT Seller)
Hi Kimberly, I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I was looking through the catalog you have on here and I love the Tuna and Hot Dogs on Rye font. I could not find it listed here, but it did come up on DaFont and a few other sites. I know I read somewhere on here that those fonts were not for commercial use. There were a couple of sites though, that said if you donate to the author, commercial use was ok. Is that true? Or, can you add the font here? Please let me know how I can purchase it for commercial use. (I already have 3 fonts/licenses through TPT.)

Oh, those fonts are fine for commercial use- you can pay for the licensing here as well. The fonts I haven't listed here are just ones that I haven't updated yet. They will eventually be updated and listed here. I have about half of my fonts listed here, the rest are all under the same licensing agreement, they just aren't up here! Hi! Basically, there are several ways to access all of the extra glyphs. My two favorite ways:
1. You can copy/paste from here into your document: ÷ ² √ π or whatever symbol you are wanting. When I can't remember where a symbol is located (one that isn't on the standard keyboard) I just google that symbol and paste it in.
2. To see all glyphs in a font, you can open the character map. In Windows, you click your Start Button, then Accessories, then System Tools and then click on the Character Map. You can choose the font you want to inspect at the top and then you can copy/paste directly from the character map. It really helps you see every single glyph in the font.

Ok. You need to drag the TTF file to your c:/windows/fonts folder. Just the TTF file. Not the whole zip.
Then restart your Word, PowerPoint, whatever.
If you get stuck I recommend searching YouTube for "how to install fonts windows xp". Sometimes seeing it really helps!

Yes, in XP dragging the TTF file into c:/windows/fonts is the appropriate install method. Have you installed a font before this one? There are good tutorials on YouTube if you search "windows xp install font". :)

You must be using a different operating system- windows XP or vista. I have a link under that tutorial to how to install in those operating systems. Basically you need to drag the ttf file to the c:/windows/fonts folder.

Hi Kimberly. Your fonts are gorgeous :) I am interested in the commercial lisence. Am I able to make graphics/clipart with your fonts that I can sell and license to others here on TpT? So I would be using the font within a graphic/clipart, or to make pattern filled clipart of the individual letters/numbers to then sell as clipart?

Yes, that's fine! :) I just ask that you do *something* to the letters before saving them as png files- like filling them with a pattern, making them metal, whatever... I don't think it is right to the buyer to just take the font and save each letter as a png, you know? I am sure you wouldn't do that, but I've seen digital scrap people do it! It just seems stupid to me!

Tamra Young (TpT Seller)
Would you consider making a 1-2 page "menu" with sample sentences of a number of your fonts that we can download? It would be nice to have a hands-on (all in one area) visual when trying to decide between fonts. I realize that you have a lot of them...so perhaps 20-30 fonts/short sentences on one page? Or do you have something like this already? Thanks so much! :)

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I'm a homeschooling mom who has previously taught high school theater and photography. My true passion is fonts, and I've made more than 200 fonts since launching my font business in 2006. Many of my fonts are excellent for teachers to use in their classrooms. My professional quality fonts almost all contain enough accented glyphs to cover more than 85 languages, making them perfect for foreign language class documents. My fonts have been featured in advertisements and products for clients like Skittles, Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, Eggo, and Clinique.
