I bought your classroom rules set. I just printed them out today and started to put them into 8x10 frames. They all look great, except for rule 5. It is a little bit smaller than all of the rest. What can I do to fix this?

Maria Manore  (TpT Seller)
Hi Kristen!
That is SUCH a strange issue to have, since I formatted all of them the same. Try to print Rule #5 again, but this time, check your print settings and make sure they are set to a print scale of 100% or "fill entire page". See if that works!

I recently bought your black series color words. I love them! I printed them out and they look great but for some reason the word "blue" isnt printing at all. Its coming out with the blue border and black background but no word. Can this be fixed?

Hi Jessica!
That issue doesn't happen for everyone, but occasionally people have difficulty printing the word "blue". You may want to update Adobe Reader on your computer. If you still have issues, try contacting TpT's customer support. They are great for solving technical issues.

I downloaded and printed your sight word labels on the correct Avery labels, but the first few rows of words don't print centered in the box. Your copyright info printed I first row with the words. Some are actually dropping into another box. I love the font, but I'm a little OCD about it not being centered. Wasn't sure if I'm the only on with this issue. If it's corrected is like to reprint. I emailed you a pic to show my issue.

Hi Jennifer! It's possible for them to print properly but you may need to adjust your settings. See if you can go into the print settings and set the scale to 100% or have it "fill entire page". That should hopefully solve the issue.

I am interested in finding a product that you make, or do not make but possibly could make, that would just have "Today is..." "Tomorrow will be" "Yesterday was..." Then the days of the week. I have a calendar that I like, but I do not like the days of the week that came with it etc. But the set you have has so much other stuff that I do not need, is it at all possible to create a smaller set? I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Temnit,
The rules are formatted to print on letter size paper. If you print them full size and trim the white edges, they will fit perfectly in 8x10" frames. It's also possible to print them at 65% and fit them into 5x7" frames. This works well, but you will notice a narrow white margin at the top and bottom of the rules when they are framed.

I hope this helps!

I ABSOLUTELY love your products! I recently ordered your classroom library labels since it is now editable thinking I would be able to add themed labels. But I'm not seeing that as an option. Would you recommend that I use the large editable labels that have the reading levels currently in there to make themed labels? Is the font the same? I wanted my images to look consistent with the rest of the themed labels I am printing as well so I don't know how to go about doing that?

The themes I want to print that are not included in your list are:
Nonfiction books
Poetry
Caldecott Medals
Character Traits
Resource
Math books
"I Can Read" books
Dr. Seuss
Berenstain Bears
Disney
Magic School Bus

What do you suggest?
Thank you!

Hi Miranda,
The font is the same on the large and small labels. To create coordinating labels, remove the large letter text (such as A, B, C etc) and replace that area with your own desired image. Changed the text of "level books" to match your theme.

I hope this helps!

Maria, Would you be able to produce two signs in the "black series" for me.
1. Give me 5? (maybe add the hand with five fingers it is a question the teacher uses to get the students full attention.
2. Levels of talking: O-no talking; level 1-inside voice; level 2-presentation voice; level 3-outside voice.
There are similar "voice levels" charts on pinterest but none like the subway art.

The size can be the same as the "classroom rules" you have done, if you can do this!! We are redecorating a classroom the black subway art series.
Thank you for considering doing this.

Hi Jessica,
I don't have a black series created for the Calendar Holiday Cards at this time. I actually use the white ones in my own classroom. I personally like how they are a subtle reminder of upcoming days since they aren't as bold as the black calendar numbers.

Hi,
I love your classroom rules set. However, the district I teach with requires us to post the rules that are listed in our handbook. Could you make a custom set with the 5 rules that I am needing?
Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately, I am not taking custom orders for alternate classroom rules at this time. I have a growing list of product requests and not enough time to add custom rules to the list in time for school to begin.

I purchased your white series classroom library labels and I am so close to being completely done labeling! But I have a question, what font did you use? I am labeling some of my books by author/ character (for example Clifford, Magic School Bus, Jan Brett books, etc) and I want these books to have a label on the book bin. So what font would I need to use to keep everything consistent?
Thanks!!

Where did you find your legal sized card stock. I'm very interested in a few of your products, but you stated that they are to be printed on legal card stock. So far, I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Thanks, Shawna :)

Hi Shawna,
You can purchase legal size cardstock on Amazon. While it's not necessary, it does provide extra durability. Here is a link to purchase on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EQ666Q/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B001EQ666Q&linkCode=as2&tag=kindercraze-20&linkId=ATR5XIGB4XIFD7FJ

Hi! I absolutely love your Black series (and have bought most of what you already have!) I was wondering if you were planning to make anything for a Daily Five and CAFE board. I would LOVE to have a set to match the rest of my room! Thanks!

Cheryl J. re: EDITABLE Classroom Library Labels for Bins & Books {Black Series)
Hi! I purchased your EDITABLE Classroom Library Labels for Bins & Books {Black Series) and LOVE IT! So, here’s my problem. I have a few more “themes” I’d like to add like poetry, riddles & joke books, fractured fairy tales, etc. but I am having issues with opening _MACOSX editable labels. I get a message that says the file could be damaged? Is there any way that you could send me editable themed library labels black series OR if I pay you more, would you be willing to add like 10 more themed labels?
Look forward to hearing back from you!
Thanks!

Hi Maria,

First, I am a big fan of all of your stuff and your blog! Thank you for sharing! I recently purchased your classroom rules and I found frames at A.C. Moore. However, I decided to buy the 5'7" frames because my classroom is small and I don't think I'll be able to fit the larger ones. Is there anyways to print the rules smaller?

Thank you!

Hi Christine,
It will take some work to get the size just right, but you can change the print scale to a smaller number (from 100% to 90% for example). I don't know what percentage will fit inside of a 5x7 frame but that should get you on the right track.

Maria,

I really do love your work, but I would need to change some of these to fit the older grades. Did you come up with an editable version for this?

Yes, three editable pages are included in the set: one for the large bin labels, one for the small bin labels, and a third that is editable book labels.

Thank you for your interest!

Hi Maria
What size lanterns do you have hanging from you ceiling? Where did you get them from? Did you use 3 colors yellow, pink, blue? Did you use the black ribbon to attached them to the ceiling? Is the ribbon from Michael's ... Hobby Lobby?

Hi,
My lanterns are all from Schoolgirl Style. They are a mix of 10 and 12" in lime green, hot pink, and turquoise. The black ribbon was purchased separately from Michaels. Lanterns can be found at schoolgirlstyle.com

Hi Maria!!
My latest project is my class calendar ... I have downloaded all of your wonderful calendar pieces and absolutely love it. I was wondering if you could send me a close up picture of your calendar on your whiteboard? Or just describe how you set it up? I tried looking at your pictures on your blog, but there is not a close up of it. The reason I'm asking is because I am trying to decide between getting a calendar pocket for all the calendar pieces I have downloaded from your TPT store, or if I should get a calendar mat and Velcro the calendar pieces on. What did you do? What do you suggest?
Please let me know when you get a chance! Thanks so much.

Hi Abby,
I personally don't care for the look of pocket charts (although I have heard that there are black ones available now and that idea intrigues me. My calendar is attached to the whiteboard with magnets. I tape a new number to it each day.

The rest of the pieces (that display the day of the week or the year are also magnetically attached. Each piece has magnets on the back so I can easily change them each day.

This blog post has a FEW photos of my calendar area: http://www.kindercrazeblog.com/2014/07/get-ready-for-school-with.html
