I have been teaching Elementary since 1998. I started my teaching career in New Zealand, then spent a year in Japan teaching ESOL to both adults and children, a year in England teaching Year 3 and finally arrived in the USA in 2003 to teach Kindergarten. I am now teaching first grade, and as grade level chairperson and a student teacher mentor I love sharing my expertise with others.
Hands on learning with an emphasis on small group differentiated instruction. I have high expectations of all of my students, and I truly believe that anyone can do anything they want to do.
Nominated for Teacher of the Year, 2011.
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Teaching Diploma from the Christchurch College of Education (New Zealand). Certified to teach in Georgia, USA.
