they should be using a font that mimics handwritten numbers so that younger students who are just learning how to write these numbers correctly can copy them (the 1 and 9 and 4 are typically written different than typed)

Hi, thanks for your comments. I understand what it is like to not have a math book, working in the state that has had the lowest per pupil spending for the last 20 years at least. I have a second grade math work book that will be going on the website soon. It is a daily practice workbook to go along with the things that you are doing. It is 320 masters that 160 double sided pages. The teachers who use it really like it. I have only sold it in Utah up until now and over 50 schools have used it. Well have a great summer, Kim

I saw your store on the home page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. I left you a rating. Well done! Because you do not have many products yet, here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products. Add
some clipart to add color or just color some of your font. For some reason buyers like color on the original even though they may copy your product in black and white. Also, create a cover page for each of your products which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. You might also add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page for the teacher. (How do use this activity? Why? Etc.) List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.
Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also number your pages. Finally, unless you want your products revised (I do for my tests) save everything in a PDF format as it is harder to change.
I think it is important that we see what others are doing; so, feel free to look at any or all of my freebies listed below to gather or copy ideas. If you care to, a rating or any feedback you might have would be great.

Hi, I appreciate your comments. I went back and now I think I have a Copyright on all of my products except the power points. Do you know if you can put things on as a power point show so they can't be changed. I tried a couple of times and it didn't work. I have been on TPT for about two weeks now and I need to stop looking at the site and work on some other things. I teach fourth grade and it looks like I will be able to use many of your products. I will be purchasing some in the fall. Thanks again.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught for 25 years. Five years in 1st grade, 12 years in 2nd grade, 1 year in 3rd grade, and 7 years in 4th grade.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I would say my style is to teach what students need giving them a little practice over time so they put the information into long term memory. We try to have fun along the way. And humor is always a big part of our class.

I have a degree in History and a Minor in German from Weber State College. I have a Masters in Educational Leadership from Brigham Young University.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
I started writing my own worksheets out of necessity. My first few years teaching my budget to cover all my paper, pencils, crayons, paint, paperclips, and glue was $100. I learned that chalk is cheap and kids like to work on the chalkboard. I started on a Mac without a hard drive, and have been going ever since.
