The borders all have transparent backgrounds, which usually show up as gray on most photo preview programs. If you copy and past them into word, you will see that only the black line doodle border is inserted, the gray background shouldn't be. Hope that helps!

You do not need an app to use these. If you unzip the files on your computer after downloading them, you will be able to see all the separate images of the gameboards and spinners. You will need to insert the images into a word file, powerpoint or publisher file. Each is a separate image file. If you are not familiar with creating in these types of programs, there are a lot of great tutorials if you search online. Have you used clipart before? These files work the same way as all other images. If you don't have experience creating these types of things in order to use this set, you can ask for a refund by contacting TpT. Hope this helps!

Hi there- I have a set of plain colored pencils I have all three of those colors- were you thinking that you wanted them in the "paint chip" style? Obviously white would just be white with lines, but black and brown could have some shading on them. Hmm I'm not sure what the problem is, but I appreciate you checking and giving credit. You can also find my terms of use and logo on my blog page here: http://thecreativechalkboard.blogspot.com/p/creative-clips-digital-clipart.html If you right click on the logo picture, you should be able to save it on your computer and then insert it into the file you are creating. Worse comes to worse, just stick with the link to my tpt store and don't worry about the logo too. :)

Hi Jennifer! I use a TON of programs! I am self taught when it comes to figuring all this out, so I use a lot of different things. I make clipart digitally and using ink drawings done by hand. I have about 6 different art apps on the ipad that I use for different parts. I also have font apps like font maker that I play around with. I also use word, powerpoint and publisher (a little) to create some of my stuff. I use a little of everything I guess!

I have downloaded the documents, but it keeps telling me on some of the images that the destination can't be found. Most of them are working except for all the Flying Saucer: Landing Gear ones and the two nebula backgrounds. Am I doing something wrong? Everything else appears to be working correctly. Please let me know!

I haven't heard of that before. In the past, some people have had trouble downloading some of the images, while other customers have downloaded all of them just fine. I haven't heard of this type of problem. I would contact the TpT Customer service so they can help you with the downloading glitches. The file should open up with all the image and the terms of use/button when you download and unzip it. TpT should be able to let you know what the problem might be. I checked the file that is uploaded to TpT for the Product Covers and Borders and all the images are there.

Hi there! Thanks for checking. I don't require any additional licenses for the use of my clipart. I only ask that you give credit to Creative Clips by Krista Wallden with a link to my tpt store. Many sellers create a "Credits Page" to include at the end of their pdf file product where they can list any graphics or fonts that they used in that product. In each product you purchase, I also include a jpeg file of my store logo and the link for my store so you can insert that appropriately for credit. Other than that, I don't have any other licenses you have to purchase. I realize that teachers are working on a budget, too and I want my clipart to be affordable for beginning and veteran sellers. You can use any of my free graphics sets for commercial or personal use as well, same requirements apply for giving credit to my tpt store and Creative Clips somewhere in the product. Thanks! I'm not super great at fonts and different computers, but I have a mac and I have to open up the font in Font Book and install it. Then it shows up on my microsoft word font list the next time I open Word. If I don't close out word in between, it doesn't come up.

Hi, Krista!! I love your puzzle pieces and tried to use them, but when I put it into either Word or Powerpoint, the background squares were there. I'm not sure how to get rid of them. Usually when I use a .png format, I can overlap images and not see the "checkerboard" background with it. Please help if you can!! Thanx!!

I can import commas and apostrophes from other sources in one color that look okay... but the other marks would be so great to have.

Hi! I am not an expert on printers and most of the printers I have purchased have been the free ones that come with the computer deals I got in college :) I did just recenting purchase a new HP Photosmart 7520 Series that is a wireless printer/scanner/fax in one. The printing quality is good and it wasn't too expensive, but the graphics also printed well on the freebie $50 dollar HP printers I got from Apple in the past. The ink cartridges for the HP 7520 are a bit more expensive than others I have had, but if you get the extra large cartridges, they last for a while. Since I don't know about a lot of other brands, I would go to Best Buy or Staples and ask around. That is what I did when I was looking to change printers. Sorry I can't give more specifics, but I have heard of a wide range of printers that customers use to print the graphics successfully :)

These are so cute. Could you add a nonagon and a decagon to help cover Virginia SOLs? With most other states (45) being Common Core aligned, it's often hard to find activities and graphics for our standards. Thanks!

I also include my Creative Clips logo in a jpeg format with each download/purchase so you can include that along with the link on a credits page if you choose. I read the comment from another buyer that said TPT sent the file through an email after clicking download difficulties but I don't see where to click that??? Hi Laura, I am sorry that this has been such a difficult download. If you still have not had this issue resolved through the TpT Tech support (you can submit a ticket through the general Customer Support option), I understand your want for a refund. You can contact them and they should be cancel the purchase. Unfortunately I don't know everything about specific computers and downloading programs, so I don't have specific advice to offer. I will try emailing the file this weekend when I have access to my graphics computer. Otherwise, I think a refund is the only option I have left. Again, sorry for the inconvience, but typically TpT knows more about specific downloading issues because they run into them from many buyers.

I had trouble with the download too. Only 1 pencil came up. I have always used Google Chrome and have never had a problem downloading your products. I just downloaded your ribbons without any trouble.

I'm not sure what the issue is. I have reuploaded the file, but many people have downloaded it successfully, so could it be something with your downloading program? Sometimes there are glitches on the website, too, so it may work at another time even though it wasn't working before. Unfortunately I don't know what else to suggest beyond that!

For the free borders, you will need to insert them into another document/program such as Word or Powerpoint. They will not print out by themselves- they are intended to be incorporated into another file like a picture. If you want just a blank page with a border, you can insert the border into a word document and adjust it to the size of the paper and print that way.

Hi there! I apologize for the delay! I really appreciate you checking on how to give credit. I only ask that you include a link to my store and possibly insert the Creative Clips logo into each product that you use my clipart. Many sellers include this information/link on a credits page at the end of the pdf/product file. You can also include any other credits for clipart or fonts credits that you used in the product on the same page. Otherwise, some people include the link to my store on the cover page of the product. As long as it appears somewhere in the product where people can see it, that is all I ask! Thank you! Your project sounds like a lot of fun for kiddos!

Hi there! I have a few different sets that have the rectangle borders that would fit the entire border of the page. Any of my "Border MEGA Packs" (I have three- they each have around 34-35 blackline doodle borders in them) are in the proportions that you are describing. The other sets I have are labeled specifically in the names (such as squares, circles, headers, etc). I will offer what little "techy" advice I have- and I'm not sure what type of computer for specific edition of software you are using, so it might be different than on my computer. When I download a file, it shows up in my downloads. With my clipart products, you will need to "unzip" the file because I have had to compress it due to size limitations on the TpT website. When you unzip the file, you will be able to see all the images. Then, I save it to another spot on my computer. From there, I can then open up the folder and the specific images. I copy and paste the images into Microsoft word or powerpoint to layer them and create my lessons and projects. I have a mac, so the exact order my be different on other computers for inserting and opening the images. You can do a google search for your specific type of computer/programs and many people have blog posts or "how-to's" with more information. That is how I figured out how to do a lot of stuff on my computer with creating products/graphics!

You will need to open up the images with whatever program you have installed for image viewing on your computer. Unfortunately I don't know specifics on each type of computer/program. You will need to look on the internet for specifics for your computer :)

I have been pullin my hair out over the downloading issues with that product and trying to figure out why it works for some people and others had so much trouble!
