The community helpers are: mailman, police officer, teacher, firefighter, garbage collector, doctor, ambulance driver. Also included in the 12 cards are vehicles that many of the community helpers drive: ambulance, garbage truck, police car, mail truck, fire engine/truck.

I've updated this unit to include more activities, more folk and fairy tales, and have cleaned up a lot of my explanations. This unit steps more away from traditional festivals and celebrations and looks at some that are lesser known.

When I bought the clip art to use on this page, I clicked a box that said I would not give it away for free or in a document that could be edited. That being said, I would be happy to edit what I have and send it in a PDF file for you. If you send me what you'd like to have on it, I can customize it for you and send it back as a PDF. I'd be happy to send several editions back and forth until we get it looking like what you want. If you are okay with me doing the customization this way, you can go ahead a purchase the lesson plan on my Teacher's Pay Teacher's site and I'll use that $2.00 towards the editing of this one.
