Thank you for the answer key! It is so helpful. Have you thought about adding the standards on the corner of each Journal page as you have for the tests? It makes them so easy to file and for correct record keeping. Just a thought. I love this product and will incorporate it into my materials for next year! Let me know if you do, as I have plans to make label pages for each journal page you made so that I can save on paper and just use labels in their journals. THanks again!

Hi, I just love your A Bundle Every 3rd grade Math teacher NEEDS for math test prep. I too would love the answers as its one less thing to think about while teaching. I have customized it to meet our needs by making changes to the pages by adding a point value for each question, and a rubric at the top of the page. No, there is not an answer key. I created these packs to incorporate more writing into math, so answers may vary. I have my students respond to the question by writing their answer, and following up with "I know this because...". I feel like this makes students back up their answers.

Does each player have their own game board and players choose digits by taking turns then compare their numbers? Not sure I understand how this works. Thanks.

I usually will give each player their own game board only so they are not confused. Each player in the game needs to have the SAME gameboard, though.
Once they have their own gameboard, they take turns randomly choosing a digit card. It is up to them to figure out where to put it. (obviously, they would want a 9 in the highest value spot and a 0 or 1 in the lowest value, but they do not understand that in the beginning).
This game is great for understanding place value in that students will learn quickly that higher numbers in higher values= winning.
