TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This last year marked my 7th year teaching! I can't imagine doing anything else! I've taught Kinder, 1st, and 2nd. Teaching the little guys is truly my calling!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I use humor, love, and a bit of silliness to bring the curriculum to my students. My biggest goal is to make sure my kiddos feel safe and loved when they are in the classroom.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated in 2006 from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. (That's a big, fancy way of saying elementary education!) I went back to school for my Master's degree in reading education and graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2010. I'm currently thinking about starting my doctorate back at U of H.
