I planned on using this with my 5th grade colony unit, but I ended up not having time to collect all the items and put it all together...maybe next year ;)
I was thinking it was more than the kids "hot" air that was being used. Unfortunately this wasn't the "new" idea I was looking for. I was also unsure how the straw was taped to the balloon.
The straw is taped to the side of the balloon to allow it to travel up the string. I apologize that it wasn't what you are looking for but my students love this activity!

I purchased this on April 30. I'm not sure why you don't see a receipt. It shows up in my purchases. I may have used the email kgwoodward07@gmail.com.
I am on my honeymoon. :-) can't remember all the details right now, I will look at it next week when I return.

tuxfable re: Teaching Figurative Language using Butternut Hollow Pond by Brian Heiz
Your download is a complete rip off and probably a copyright violation. Where is there a lesson? All this is is an exact copy of a few pages with some underllining.
I want my money back
I'm sorry you aren't satisfied but I believe that the product description and activity match. Students should read and highlight the different examples of figurative language throughout the text. I'm not sure how you get your money back but if there is anything I can do, please let me know. From my ratings and comments you can see that I do not intend to mislead anyone and apologize again that you are not happy with the product.

Hi, I just purchased this and am unable to download it.
Please email me a copy : sandra.gregory@comcast.net
Thanks.
Sorry for the delay, I am not feeling well but I took a look and these are the materials: lemon juice in water, salt in water, iced tea, baking soda, vinegar, sand, rocks, cereal such as raisin bran, oil such as olive, canola or vegetable. Hope this helps!
I do not have my computer in front of me to open the document but if the materials aren't bulleted, it should be self-explanatory within the laboratory worksheets. I will try to look through tomorrow and make a bulleted list for you.

Hello, I just purchased the Periodic Table of Elements Scavenger HUnt but was unable to open it on my MAC. It came up as blank notes. Perhaps a word document would work instead of notes.

Kristin,
Is there any way you can enlarge the font size? It is extremely difficult to read. Another request would be to change the font itself. I could try to enlarge this on our copy machine, but I would rather not have to do this.

I was able to open the preview but I am unable to open the full product as I do not have a smartboard. I went back to the site and read you would be willing to send the hunt if I was unable to open? Since the preview worked, I did not read any further other than how much I liked your product. Thanks
I am working on an answer key. Each station should represent the new England, middle, and southern colonies.

Do you have an answer key for easy reference on the Constitution Unit Plan? Just purchased this and there weren't any in the packet.

willigriff re: 13 Colonies Scavenger Hunt Game
I just downloaded your 13 colonies scavenger hunt and was wondering if you could share with me what items you put in the bags. I think my students will have a lot of fun with it.
The bags included a variety of clues such as different types of dirt (for example, rocky soil I added rocks to make it obvious). Pictures of different religions, climates etc.

It depends on the levels of your third graders. I include the preview documents so you can peruse it and decide whether or not it is suitable for your classroom.

I was able to open the preview (i do not have smartboard) but am not able to open the full product....? any suggestions?
I have access to the materials through contacts that work for the government. You could try am mechanics shop or anyone that would have to deal with cleaning up oil, such as possibly a gas station. where do you live? I'm not sure how much it would be to ship you a few of them.
