My Teaching Experience

Currently high school literacy coach, formerly classroom teacher (grades 8, 9 and 12). Also undergrad (literature, visiting adjunct) and graduate (education).

My Teaching Style

English Language Arts is only the convenient label that the schools use to categorize my classes. I teach THINKING and insist that my students go beyond basic knowledge and comprehension and consider the larger concepts embedded in any work, including their own.
