Thanks, Deanna! The two things I love most about this activity is 1-it's fairly easy for students of any age to cut out the pieces and 2-not only do they work with contractions, but they step it up by adding the cloud with the sentence using their contraction. Happy flying :D

Thanks so much for the feedback! Differentiation can be difficult, but I find this to be one way to make it a lot easier! Another way I use the different levels of completed writing is when a student is absent - I give them one that is filled out.

I teach fifth grade, and I've taught my students the procedure that either their homework gets turned into the tray or one of these notices gets turned in. No more standing in line to tell me they didn't do their homework (which incidentally, by the time it's their turn to tell me that, they probably could have completed their homework if they had just sat down and done it instead of waiting in the line that never seems to end!)

My advice would be to look at other successful sellers and see what they are doing! Also, have a good assortment of digital paper. It really dresses your product up! I wait until Sassy Designs goes on sale, and buy there paper. I love the assortment, and their sale prices are great!
