I just recently purchased your money unit. I am currently in school now doing my first lesson plan and bought this to help assist my money unit. I need to be able to attach the worksheets that I would be using in the lesson and I am not using all of the worksheets provided. Is there a way that I can upload just certain pages to go with my lesson plan in word or excel? I assure you only my professor will be seeing the lesson plan. That is so strange, you are the first to have this problem but let's get it resolved ASAP!! The 2 units combined should be 132 pages. The plants unit should be 60 pages and the spring unit is 72 pages. Can you tell if you have one entire unit in your download? If you are missing part of the plants unit I can email it to you as a PDF attachment. If its the spring unit you are missing part of I need to contact TPT to see why this is happening because that file is too large to send via email. Once I hear back from you I will get the ball rolling. Thanks for your patience and we will get this squared away!

That is so strange. No one else has contacted me with this problem and I just tried printing myself and it worked. Were you able to print any of the pages successfully? Can you check to make sure your printer is set to the portrait setting because that is the orientation of the document so it will make a difference. If that isn't the problem let me know and I can do 2 things...I can try emailing you the document and see if that makes a difference and email TPT to see if they can help trouble shoot. If you have Publisher on your PC I can also email the document in pub formatting in addition to pdf and see if that works. Thanks for the heads up and we will get it figured out ;)

Thanks for your inquiries. I always appreciate when someone asks first over buying when uncertain and then getting a product that doesn't meet their needs. There a no reading goal suggestions in the packet. It is more or a step by step guide for how to structure guided reading session into parts. WHat to do at eat session and how to break apart the class and manage guided reading. There are lots of tips and suggestions that I have found to be very helpful in the management department. There are also some posters and task cards that you can use with the kids at guided reading ( there are even more cards,games and forms in my GR Teacher's Guide Part 2)? I used this format for guided reading in both 1st and 3rd grade and have given workshops to many kindergarten teachers. I hope that helps. Please message me back if you have any other questions;)

Krystin, I just have to tell you that I used the 100 day activities with my first grade class on Feb. 7 and the kids said it was the best day ever! Of course the 100 day soufflé was the big winner. I had them take the poem and find long a words, compound words etc! And we een made soufflés for the principal, the secretary and the custodian. We didn't get to all the activities; there were MORE than enough! We made the 100 days smarter ties first and they wore them all day! Do you have any activities for 3D shapes??

I am currently working on a spring unit and an Easter unit but I am planning on going back through my 2d shapes unit and adding 3D cards and pictures for some of the activities so that it can work for both. I just bought your shape unit. I really like the activities you have included. My question to you is about the shape flip book. When you use the pictures of the microwave, sun, etc that are really 3D shapes, do you not confuse your students about the difference between 2D and 3D? First off thank you for your positive reviews and kind words! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you messaging me about this rather then giving the entire product a poor review! You are right, I should fix these. I just created this unit for TpT a month ago as I just started selling on here in August. I didn't even have Publisher before that lol. I did this activity in my classroom but I drew the pics in the past (rudimentary I know :). I am going to peruse my clip art stash and see if I can make them all 2D. You are right that it could be a bit confusing. I was so focused on finding black and white pictures so the students could color them that I completely overlooked this!! For the cards I tried to pick from a variety so though there are a few in those word families there are more that are not. Here's the list: bag, crack, quack, mad, fan, jam, flag, sad, van, flag, hat, nap and fat. For the That's So Silly book all of the short a words are from the at word family. For memory the 2 short a cards are "cat" and "can" and there are pictures plus c_t and c_n on the cards to help students figure out the vowel match. Hope that helps!!

Thanks for your inquiry. There are 12 picture cards for each short vowel. they each have a picture of something that has the short vowel sound such a a "van" with the word written out but the vowel missing ie: v_n. the students will make short vowel sticks using the materials provided and as you hold up the cards and say the word they will decide which vowel sound they hear and hold Upbthe corresponding stick. If you look at the thumbnails the 4th thumbnail has a picture showing some of these cards, you will just have to print and cut them out.

Good morning! Thanks for taking the time to ask a question before purchasing. It's smart to ensure you are getting what you want;) The way I set it up is right at the beginning of the unit there are 2 pages of common core standards listed for grades 1 and 2 that state the standards that apply when using these prompts. Then there are 100 journal prompt cards in addition to ideas and suggestions for implementing journaling in your classroom and a rubric with suggestions for various ways you can assess. Hope that helps clarify!! Hopefully you are still interested in this product ;)

Hello, I am home schooling through a virtual academy. Our third son as been tested and found to have a very limited working memory which causing him to have reading difficulties. Our special Ed person has suggested doing SRA corrective decoding. I am wondering if your Guided Reading kit would help me to help him? Hello! I'm so sorry for the delay I just found this in my inbox! My guided reading packet has suggested strategies for how to run a guided reading session step by step from previewing the book to working on vocabulary and comprehension and some decoding strategies. If you are doing read alouds with him every day at his instructional level this will help give you some structure and ideas for maximizing the time and helping him with the text. Does that help any? You sound like a wonderful parent and I applaud you for working so hard ;)

I am from Indiana and our Reading standards also include the language standards. Do you have another item that includes these? Hi! Thanks for the great feedback. I am in the middle of a unit for thanksgiving but I can try and work on those when I am finished. They took me a long time and I wasn't sure how they would sell which is why I started with just reading and math. I can look at the language standards and see if I can get them added and send out an updated version to the buyers. It may take a few weeks but I can definitely work on it next ;)

Krystin, well, I have seen some sets on here where the standards have pictures showing examples of what the standard is. For example, if the standard about arrays, the child might have an array next to him/her.
