I'm so glad you like it! My kids always giggle as they are dressing their turkey! For those that are inspired to write a story for their dressed up bird, I give them additional lined paper. You never can tell what these "turkeys" are up to (hmmm, which turkeys? the kids or the birds?) :)

Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher here in Texas. I have a question for you. Does your school use CSCOPE for curriculum? If so, how long? Our district just rolled it out for us to begin using it. I love it, but many of my colleagues are overwhelmed and do not like it at all. Did anyone on your faculty have the same problems? Can you tell me how your school overcame the issues? Of course these questions are assuming you do use it. I really appreciate any help you can give me.

Our district does not use CSCOPE, so I have no personal experience with it. I have hear mixed reviews about it.
I'm lucky to be in a district that allows us to create our curriculum and try out new ideas, strategies, and share them with each other.
Sorry I can't help you with this. My aunt taught in Longview and used it, but she was not a fan, she felt it was too confining.

No, I do not use the Spalding paper, I like the midline as well. :)
I use our handwriting paper with the midline for the phonogram review as well.
I will work on more fun reviews and let you know when I upload them if you follow me. I also use the kinesthetic phonograms along with spalding from heidi songs...you should look them up, it gives a movement to go along with the sound! I love it! Don't worry about questions, this is why we are teachers...to share!
