Hello!! There are 17 pages in this download. 9 of the pages make up the game, 3 of the pages are extension worksheets and the other pages are instructions/explanations for the game, cover sheet, credit sheet, etc. I hope that this answers your question. I can personally attest that my class loves to play Compare and there are 6 positive feedback comments in the 'Ratings & Comments' section that give reasons why other teachers have enjoyed their purchase. Hello! Please email me at KTPonTPT@gmail.com and I'll be glad to send you a few samples. I don't know if they will qualify as "ol' favorites" but I'll be glad to send you a few! They are fun and mostly rhyming, and a lot of them can be sung to a tune (Twinkle, Twinkle and London Bridges to name a couple tunes). They are perfect for building fluency in a primary classroom! My firsties love going to the Poetry Center and love taking home their Poetry Binders every Friday!

Hello!!

Ok, I've been looking and researching and from what I can find, I cannot make an editable file and post it as a pdf. Once I make it a pdf, it is locked. Did you see that I added 2 blank game boards to the file? That way, you could fill in any other words that you would like to use in the game. I also recently added 15 new game boards with additional word families, so I those work for you!

Yes!!! I am in the process of working on them all!! I changed the way I do my writing center this year, so I've been making each month's writing prompts as I go along! I'm almost done with January and will post that one as soon as it's completed. I'm hoping to make some good progress over Christmas break! Yes, I will eventually have prompts from September until May.

I just posted the November set- I hope you'll check it out! I added some clip art to some of the prompts, just trying to make it cuter! :)

These are a work in progress, as I am writing them for use in my classroom, too. I changed the way I do my Writing Center this year, so I'm working month by month to get these prompts done! Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher here in Texas. I have a question for you. Does your school use CSCOPE for curriculum? If so, how long? Our district just rolled it out for us to begin using it. I love it, but many of my colleagues are overwhelmed and do not like it at all. Did anyone on your faculty have the same problems? Can you tell me how your school overcame the issues? Of course these questions are assuming you do use it. I really appreciate any help you can give me.

are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products. First, create a cover page for EVERY product you create which can then be used as an attractive thumbnail to entice buyers. Add a second page which is a directions or suggestions page. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product. Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Also, number your pages.
