I love your summaries and questions, they have been very helpful in my classroom. I have one suggestion/favor, the hyphenation in the readings are difficult for my students. If there is ever a chance you create them without using the hyphen I think I would probably buy more.

Hyphenation? I'm not sure I understand... Do you mean the way that words are sometimes divided at the edge of the text box? That is not really something I control, as words are automatically divided in the box for "best fit".
I am reluctant to override the automatic hyphenation because it would cut down on the amount of text I can put in a box. Already I am challenged trying to simplify complex historical concepts to four simple textboxes. I just don't know that I can cut them down further.

Ok, I have done a lot of research on this... but not on a Mac... only PC.
I created the template in PPT 2003 (or Office 2003), and it seems like it is having difficulty with later versions.
In reviewing, I have had the same problem you speak of... but not consistently. That is to say, sometimes the $100 level category will not disappear, and other times it is the $200 level, the $500 level, the $1,000 level. And there has been no consistency here... sometimes the 2nd category $500 level won't disappear... but another time it is the 3rd category $500 level.
And I must say, that every time I second click on a level that won't disappear, it does disappear... if that makes any sense.
Getting technical, this is what I can tell you... each number is a hyperlink... designed to move you to another point in the powerpoint where the question is located (and the answer). The used link is then supposed to turn the color of the background (thus making it appear invisible). Sometimes the links are not transitioning to the color of the background (and thus, not disappearing).
I can assure you that I have double-checked every link in the powerpoint... everything is programmed appropriately (please feel free to do so yourself). However, in my research, I have noted that there have been problems with Microsoft Office Updates... specifically KB982158, dealing with these hyperlink coloration issues.
Other than this, I have no further information? Sorry, I've tried?

Hi, your Jeopardy template seems great! I just love the realistic sound bite in the beginning! I was wondering if you have any suggestions as to how to consistently get questions already answered to turn blank. It's so frustrating that I can't get it to work all the time. Is there a particular place I should click on the answer to get it to disappear? For example, I can't get the first topic, $100 question to go blank. Thank you!

I would sort through a couple of different "sets" to find what you're looking for. Look through the WWII set for some of the fascism & nazism stuff. There is a reading on the Soviet State that deals with totalitarianism and 5 year plans, and a couple of the Between the Wars readings (political & military aggression) might deal with what you're looking for. I don't think the entire Between the Wars set is exactly what you're looking for. Pick and choose and put together what you want. Download previews to better see what is covered in each reading. I would go with Imperialism or Nationalism, since both are underlying causes of WWI. Imperialism can be unwieldy as a unit because of the scope... I have a set of readings on imperialism you might want to look at and maybe just think about a couple of them, like imperialism in Africa, India and China. OR, you might want to do something quickly on Nationalism... Specifically the unification of Italy and Germany. Again, I have multiple readings on 19th century nationalism that might help you cover material quickly. Good luck to you, and thanks for your kind words!!

I'm not sure what to tell you... I haven't done much advertising or networking to promote my products. Quite frankly, I just don't have the time. Many others do so, but I tend to let my products speak for themselves. As a result, recognition takes time.
I might suggest that you offer a better description of your product. You have a 50+ slide power point, and you describe it in a short sentence. Be more descriptive! Explain how it could be used... What grade levels it targets... And be more specific as to what information it will impart.
And, I might suggest you offer a different product as your free item. Giving away a 50+ page power point for free? I think it is worth more than that. I know that your free item should be a good representation of you and your work, but I think that yours might be a bit over the top. However, this is completely up to you.

It is confusing. I subscribe to www.clipart.com, and their restrictions allow me to profit from the use of their images in my own work, but not to profit from the sale of their images directly. I include a disclaimer in each product I sell suggesting the buyer has purchased the right to use my product, but that the images are the property of Jupiter images, inc., and that they do not have the right to use them for their own purposes.
That probably doesn't address your issue of PowerPoint images. You should check the TpT seller's forum, and the Sellers Tips. I know there were several old TpT newsletters published by Margaret Whisnant that addressed copyright laws and issues.

When I opened this file however, there was one samll picture of the crescent moon and star on page 1, then one small picture of a book on page 2 and that was it. My apologies if this message is unwelcome. I have just made my first free lesson on TPT, a short animated video about Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot of November 5th 1605. I notice that you have taught history classes including the Stuart Period and wonder if this would be useful to you at this time? There will also be a script and other stuff in the next few days.
