I am unable to open this document which I purchased in a full format...it keeps coming up as a text edit, and thus is a mini square, and the letters are on top of one another. I purchased another tonight, and had no problems, downloaded and read immediately. This one is a doc.x document, and I am unable to open it on my mac. Advise? Very frustrated, spending way too much time trying to resolve this with a purchased item!

I am so sorry to hear that you are unable to open March Weather. The unit is written on Microsoft Office Word and saved as a PDF file. I am not sure if your computer would need to be compatible or not. There should not be a problem. Perhaps try saving and opening on another computer. YOU might also try troubleshooting from the Purchase page on TpT. Please let me know. I can try sending it to you as an email.

Landforms is included in Essential Standards for Social Studies. North Carolina has adopted Essential Standards for their SS objectives in K-6. Landforms may also be included in other states standards, not sure, but check your states standards for Social Studies. Thanks so much.

Divide the cards into 6 equal stacks and place each stack on the game board with the dice. Students roll a dice and chooses one card from the game board that matches their number rolled. ( Roll a 5- choose a card from the 5 dice square) Student then says the letter on his/her card. Student keeps the card the card after saying the letter. At the beginning, I try to let all my students get the answer with help from me for friends. Game is over when all cards and been identified or time runs out. I hope that this helps. My students love to play this game. After we have played in small groups, they are independent enough to play during centers or buddy play. It is great to pair high student with lower ones.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
This is my third year teaching Kindergarten. Prior to teaching, I was a Kindergarten Assistant for 6 years and a Special Education Assistant for 10 years. I decided to pursue a teaching certificate to fulfill a dream. I went back to college with my two daughters. My poor husband had 3 girls in college at once. Finally we are all finished. Teaching Kindergarten is my dream job.
MY TEACHING STYLE
I have a "Hands-On" approach with Kindergarten children. I believe in challenging my children each day and holding them to a higher level. I believe learning should be fun and engaging.

I graduated college with a 4.0 grade point average. My classroom was the Math Studio classroom this year for Kindergarten teachers in my district.
