I have been teaching high school and middle school Spanish for 11 years. Teaching Spanish online in my "spare" time was the catalyst for creating my own supplementary materials. Concordia Language Villages was the wonderful place I got my start in immersion education as a counselor and cultural art director for their Spanish Language Villages. Hands on, interactive, natural, immersion. My profile picture is of me when I dressed as Frida Kahlo to present an art/Spanish/history lesson for my friend's classes. I like to teach this lesson every-other-year for my own students (The year when I don't teach this lesson gives enough of a break that when I teach the lesson again, the students are excited to see me dressed up!). This is a great example of my teaching style.

I have traveled throughout the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica the Netherlands, France, Germany, Morocco and Spain. 3 summers ago I completed the pilgrimage of El Camino de Santiago de Compostela (an 800km walk that takes the traveler across the width of the entire Iberian Peninsula). I joined TpT becaue it is a wonderful environment to share my ideas with others and to learn from some amazing teachers!
