Yes. That is indicated on the true/false questions and in the explanation found in the activity packets. However this year a student from the state of Oaxaca said that Cinco de Mayo is celebrated in his hometown with un baile y unas fiestas. I had never heard of any other place in Mexico celebrating besides Puebla. The times that I was in Mexico during May I was in the north where it is not celebrated. Thank you!

I bought it from Amazon. You must have a zone free dvd player to play it since the movie was only released in Spain. On the dvd other language choices are languages spoken in Spain (gallego, catalán.) My students like to hear the other languages too. I hope you can find it!

JoDee Sattazahn-Hansen graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in Spanish and from California State University at Sacramento with a MA in Spanish. She is certified to teach Spanish K-12.
