How exciting... a little girl! Congratulations. Glad you're happy and found your calling. It sure makes working a lot easier when you love what you do. Good luck to you!

I was in Califormia for awhile but missed the midwest. I am now the gifted facilitator for District 33 in West Chicago. I do have a son and he is making me a grandma in November! Yikes...
I love your 100 Point Project and am planning on using it with my sixth grade gifted readers. I'll bet you are an awesome teacher!

I made my parents grandparents 2 years ago My daughter Sophie is the light of my life. I currently live in Batavia quite near West Chicago. I love teaching and I wrote a play for this school year.

Hi Laura!
Are you the same Laura that went to DuJardin? I think I was your fifth grade teacher there. I am not surprised you are teaching Language Arts. I remember you being a gifted writer and reader.

I am the same Laura. WOW!! The last I had heard you had moved away from Illinois. I hope you and your family are well. (I am pretty sure you had a son!) Laura Budde
