Personally, I would not recommend the Kindle version. I don't like how the pages are formatted and I wish the publisher wouldn't even offer it that way. You can view the one that I see here on your Kindle since it's a PDF and you can see how the pages are formatted. You can also view these pages on your computer and print from there. I don't even remember if you can access the printables from the Kindle version. It seems like there is a link in the text, but it's difficult to find what you need.

I have not had time to create that product yet, and it doesn't look like it will happen any time soon. When I reviewed your Pinterest feed, it looks like your pinning style is quite different from what I require of my collaborators. I have many guidelines that have to be followed, and much of what I learned came from Charity Preston's Teaching Blog Traffic School. I suggest that you sign up for her course if you want to learn effective strategies for Pinterest, and you might be eligible to be added to her grade level boards. I can't promise you that because I don't know her current guidelines for adding new members, but it's a good place to start. Here's a page where you can get started:

Hi Laura,
Thank you so much for sharing your Whole Brain Teaching Rules poster. I have been using these rules for several years in kindergarten and LOVE them. Mine are slightly different. Is there any way I can tweak the ones you have made? My rule #1 is Listen when the teacher is talking. My rule #3 is Follow directions quickly. If I am not able to tweak them myself I would be willing to pay you to tweak them for me.
Thank you again for sharing.

I was wondering if you had any geometry lesson plans/resources you would be willing to donate...I have a nonprofit organization called Pink Elephant and we currently partner with teachers at two locations in Nakuru, Kenya to provide them with lesson/resource support in order to improve the education they are delivering to their students. Hi! I have purchased some of your items, so first of all thanks! I am a teacher in Birmingham, AL. and I'm trying to get a postcard exchange going. This is one of the places I'm trying to spread the word. Would you mind spreading the word to any teachers you think may be interested in doing this?

This is a postcard exchange for elementary classrooms! Your class will be responsible for sending out 49 postcards from your state to the other state classrooms in the group and in turn your class will receive 49 postcards (1 from each state). This is an amazing way to integrate maps and globes! Please share with any teachers from other states that you might know that would be interested!

Hi! You probably won't like my answer because I've had a website for over 15 years! I've been on TpT for about 3 or 4 years but I had a large following on Facebook and by newsletter before that time. However, many others have developed huge followings in a much shorter time. I highly recommend a course called Teaching Blog Traffic School to help you get started. It's worth every penny. You'll need to start a blog and maybe a Facebook page. I have always had a wide variety of materials in different subject areas because I taught everything. I would also suggest that you attend the TpT conference this summer and consider it an investment in your business. Good luck!

Hello Laura. My question is: How do you create such colorful and wonderful presentations and books for teachers to use? I am new to this site but I have lots of great lesson plans that I would love to share with others. I just don't know how to make them colorful and creative. I can type a word document and that's about it. But I have been told by many other teachers that I should share some of the big ideas that I have. So I thought I would ask the best on how to put something attractive together for others to have.

I mostly learned by watching what others are doing and being inspired by new design ideas. I don't copy anyone else, but seeing the beautiful products being created has motivated me. Also, I pay quite a bit for all of the lovely clipart and that's a key factor. However, I can write it off on my taxes since I'm in business. There's a course called Teaching Blog Traffic School that can teach you how to market your items after you make them, but I don't think it teaches you how to make them. Also, I will be presenting a session at the TpT conference called Creating A+ Teacher Resources so maybe you can come to the conference and attend the session!

Hi Laura,
I stumbled upon your wonderful Pinterest board "Literacy Teaching Resources" and was wondering if I could join it. I would soooo appreciate the opportunity! I teach 4th grade. Please, let me know. Thank you. :-)

That board is not currently open to collaborators. It may be open in the future, but I do have very strict guidelines that my collaborators must follow. One of them is that you have to pin at least 4 free items or interesting blog posts for each product and another is that you have to include a $ sign in every product description. I'm actually working on a product with tips for Pinterest collaborators, so be sure you are following me if you are interested in joining up in the future. That product will have information for those who are interested in becoming a collaborator on one of my boards.

Laura,

I bought this and I love it! I want to share it with my teaching team, but I did not purchase additional licenses at my time of purchase. I thought I could go back in and buy them. Every time I try to add them, it adds the original cost to the site license. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Thanks for being willing to pay for extra licenses. I believe you have to go to your account and find the item under My Purchases. Then you should see the option to add additional licenses there. I also have a school site license plan for all of those packs, k-5. Contact the TpT help team if this doesn't work.

Thanks for the info and response. I can edit but not delete. I think you have that ability, though. Thanks again! : )

I have enjoyed many of your products. I hope I win a gift card, so I am able to purchase the Geometry Exploration Bundle. Geometry is really tested at the 4th gr. level on the NWEA's and our MN State Math Standards. I'm always looking for new and exciting ways to teach geometry.

Sounds like a problem with Adobe Acrobat. Try installing the newest version of it. You can contact TpT help desk to see if they have any ideas, but they are probably going to tell you the same thing.

I've purchased the Mastering Math Facts/Graphic Organizer combo. I LOVE the math facts package!

I'd love to try out the Power Reading activity- is there a way to get the bundle discount for that purchase?

Thanks!

No, there's no way to get that discount. However, if you wait until Thursday you can get it on sale as I'm sure you know! I'll have it marked down 20% on top of the 10% from TpT so that should help. Glad you like the other two books!
