Oh - that explains it! I just unlinked the combo page from the rest of my site but it's still there when you use the search engine. Did you preview the addition and subtraction book? It's not a complete book like the other one. It only costs $4, though, because it's meant to be a supplement to the other one. I'm sorry! I didn't realize it was still listed on my website. Do you know where you saw it? Please email me at lauracandler@att.net if you remember the page where you saw it and can send me a link. I tried to remove all references to it. It's no longer available since the new Mastering Math Facts came out. The addition and subtraction one was not a complete program and it shouldn't be paired with the new book which is professionally formatted. I'm working on an addition and subtraction book to go with the new multiplication and division one, but it won't be available for close to a year. I haven't even signed a contract with the publisher for it.

I have no idea why this is happening because I have not had any complaints about this. It sounds like a printer memory problem to me. Is your printer an older model? Hopefully if you print it on a different printer it will work. You can try contacting the TpT support team using the Help link at the top of the site if your issue is not resolved. Thanks for your purchase! I'm sure that you can get help with that from the TpT support team. I have a PC and my computer automatically came with a program to unzip the files. Are you sure that yours doesn't? When I buy zip files I open the folder and there's something that top that says "Extract all files." It doesn't say to unzip them. When I click on that it asks me to browse for a location (folder) where I want to put the unzipped files. Then I click Ok (or Save or whatever the option is) and my files are unzipped and put in the folder. If that doesn't work for you, check the help page on TpT here: https://support.teacherspayteachers.com/ or just click the word Help at the top of the TpT site. If your answer is not on that page, you can open a ticket by clicking the Contact Us link. I hope this helps!

Laura, I can't believe I can give you helpful info about QR codes! My students and I love them! I have used goqr.me to create some, BUT I just discovered http://beqrious.com/qr-code-generator/ which has some very interesting new options that could get you ahead of the others, like interesting colors and designs AND being able to track and map where your codes are being scanned! My favorite sellers using codes now are Kristin Kennedy and FlapJack Educational Resources. I hope this was helpful. I didn't know how to respond to your questions on the comments page!

This was great! I actually went on a search for some information after reading your suggestion. I found www.qrstuff.com that would allow me to create a QR code for each answer. I found out that other sellers just put the code on the front of the card. I would have to make those cards bigger, but I'm going to give it a shot. Thanks for the suggestions! Each border is color-coded for the grade level so I'm not able to help you out with that request. There are actually 3 sets of prompts and each set is in a completely different file so you should be able to tell them apart by the name of the file and the cover image.

Can you check to see if your school has a decent poetry anthology for kids? Ask the media specialist to help you find some books that have good poems - poems that don't always rhyme. Just read aloud with feeling."
So maybe before you jump into the activities in Exploring Poetry it would be a good idea to read a poem a day just for enjoyment.

However, I am having a hard time finding one poem that contains strong imagery and other poetic devices, that I will use to introduce poetry to the kids. I was wondering if you have an example of a poem that you use for the first lesson with your students? I have been searching for hours and I'm beginning to get discouraged. What grade do you teach? One place you can look is your basal reader if you have one. Many times you can find good poems there. But you won't always find a poem that has all the different poetic devices. You really need an anthology for that. I just bought a book called The Poetry Friday Anthology that has great short poems for every grade level. It was $29.99 on Amazon but I just checked and there's a Kindle version, too.

Hi! No, I haven't had that problem and no one has complained about that document. You need to talk to someone from your school because it sounds like a technical issue on your end. This is a compressed zip file and you will need to "unzip" it before sending those files to the printer. Someone at your school should be able to help you with that issue. Thanks for purchasing it. Are you aware that you can preview all of my items completely before you purchase them? Just click the download button. But to answer your question, no, they don't. I've been thinking of adding some task cards for that, but I haven't gotten around to it. Trying to add brackets and braces means coming up with really long problems and I just haven't had time to work on it. If I do add them, it would be another product called Order of Operations Bingo Level 3. Maybe I'll get to it one day, but these problems provide a great starting point for the foundations.

Go to your TpT account when you are at school and download the PDF files to your school computer. Then click to open them when you have your interactive whiteboard on. You can't edit them, but you can use a whiteboard marker and write on them or use them for demonstration purposes.

Sorry, I didn't keep any that my students did. However, the kids did just fine without an example. Just work through the process as described and allow time for individual and peer conferences. You'll be amazed at how good they turn out!

Yes, the format is a PDF and you can print it from your computer. The neat thing about the PDF version is that it has clickable links that allow you to jump from one part of the text to another. For example, you can click on something in the table of contents and it takes you right to that page in the book.

Hi Jacqueline, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner on this. I removed that combo pack because I ended up adding more to it - it now covers grade K - 5. Also, I created CCSS Discussion cards to go with those Talking Sticks activities and I created combos with them. Finally, I didn't think a teacher would want to buy the combo version because they are all for different grade levels. It's not designed to be shared schoolwide. If you are buying this for a school, they can purchase a site license for the whole K-5 pack from my website (www.lauracandler.com). Hi Betsy, thanks for purchasing this item and I'm sorry you are having problems with it. Have you tried going back to your account on TpT and downloading a new copy? It could be that yours is a corrupt file, but I haven't gotten any other emails about this so I think it might be a weird glitch in your file. If that doesn't help, contact the support folks at TpT and open a ticket. They are very responsive.
