There is not any continuity to this workbook and there isn't much work. It would not qualify as even a powerpoint. It does not have any more creative look at communities than a dry textbook. Sorry, but not much there.

Hi Holly! Great question! I have actually done this a couple different ways: One of the ways is having them write a sentence about a famous landform or one in our area. For example, I live in New York, so my kids can write down that a lake that is near us is Lake George. Another way that I have done is if the students do not understand what exactly a landform is, they can write another fact about it - "Canyons are found more in dry areas than wet areas."
