I am having trouble viewing the document in the pdf format. The title of each poster is there and the graphics, but the other writing appears to be black blobs. I have never had problems downloading PDF before. I do have a MAC and not a PC. Do you know if this could be the problem. Your posters are the best I have seen. I am very disappointed. =(

I'm not sure what you're seeing when you download... No one else has had this problem :( My only suggestion is making sure you're viewing in the correct Adobe mode (viewer vs. reader). Try again and let me know if it works! Sorry for the trouble!

The only thing I can think of is that you're opening it in "preview" mode with adobe?? I own a pc, but I've heard of my friends having this problem. Make sure you're in "reader" mode when opening. No problem; thank you for asking! To get an idea of what my lesson activity packs include, you can download We're Going on a Picnic or On Saturday for free. The rest of the packs follow that same basic idea... words to print, laminate and hang around the room plus 3 activity pages to coordinate. I have started making the words larger to hang up (only 2 to a page instead of 4) so it's easier for the kids to see/read.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am in my 7th year of teaching first grade. I also teach incoming kindergarteners every summer in July to help give them a little extra "boost" before beginning school! I have also tutored several students during my summers "off" (haha!)in reading and math. :)
MY TEACHING STYLE
I love to change my style all the time! I want to make sure my style fits my kids and their needs. If I need to make more hands-on activities, so be it! More cooperative learning... done! Games? You bet!

I was nominated for the Horizon award for first year teachers in Kansas after I finished my inital year of teaching. I am about ready to embark on my 3rd year of being a mentor to a first year teacher.
