I purchased all of your products on coloring synonyms. From there, I have created my own synonym coloring pages using the over-used words such as: say, nice, pretty, ugly etc. I would be happy to share them with you or you can go on Pinterest under my name and check out my creations under 'Classroom Ideas.' I do not sell my hand-drawn creations, but I thought you might be interested. If not, no problem. Your products are great!

Hi Brooke, thank you for contacting us. We love your board and activities. The hearts one would be fun to make a seasonal activity (Valentine's Day). Then for other days/seasons: shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day, apples for fall, umbrellas for spring, etc. My daughter, Laurel, followed your classroom ideas board. So many cool things! We especially LOVE the four thousand years history infographic. What a great way to represent MANY historical events graphically and in a way that allows students to see relationships and interactions among those events. All the best! Laurel and Susan

Thank you for the offer of a free product. It is not necessary. I'm just thankful for teachers who are more skilled with a computer than I. I will continue to check back for more vocabulary- synonym type products. You've inspired me to draw a few of my own using overused words such as 'said' or 'nice'.

An alternative way to present this product. I numbered each one of the main words and then I listed the color and number of synonyms the students will find. Example: 2. wield (blue;4). Maybe it can be of some use to you.

Take a look at this printable number 3. I cannot find the word 'condolence' on the graphic. It's no problem for me as I simply drew another line and included it. Just thought you'd want to know.

We are so sorry for this! We try not to make mistakes, but sometimes we do. We checked it out and the error is in the written text page, not in the exercise itself or the key. We used orderly rather than condolence, but missed the change in the direction sheet. We have corrected it and you should be contacted to download the corrected pdf. Again, we thank you so much for pointing this out to us so we could correct it. We would like to offer you a free product to say thank you for your assistance and to help make up for your inconvenience. If there is something else from our shop that you would like, how can we send it to you? Thank you again, Laurel and Susan

Would you consider making a set of multiplication bookmarks that can easily be printed in black and white and allow the students to color them? We do not have access to color printers at my school -- but I love the idea of using these as rewards when students are working on their multiplication facts. Thanks!!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I studied Middle Grades and Art Education. I was a classroom teacher (grades 4th, 5th and 8th for nine and a half years and art for one year), then left to raise my children. I worked as a tutor for several years after leaving the classroom. When my oldest daughter reached kindergarten age, I began homeschooling. It has been a wonderful adventure. As a trained teacher, it came naturally to me. My oldest daughter is now in college, and I have two high school daughters in our homeschool.

MY TEACHING STYLE

We love books, and I am thankful that all of my children are great readers. Although I have purchased some homeschool curriculum materials, I have written most of our curriculum and much of our learning has been based on our reading. Writing plays an essential role in my homeschool as well, and I always incorporate projects and activities to enhance all of the concepts we study.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I knew I had succeeded in making my homeschool curriculum challenging enough when my college daughter reported that the college level workload was an easy adjustment after our intense homeschool schedule.
