MY TEACHING STYLE
I don't like to pigeonhole myself into one particular style of teaching since I teach 100+ teenagers a day! I do a little bit of everything, hoping that I reach my kids as much as possible. On any given day during my 60-minute academic classes I will cover warm-up general questions, lecture/notes, foldables, lab activities, a video or video-clip, and a lab activity. Rarely do my students do just one activity in a class period and I love to keep them moving.

I am a middle school teacher in a rural title I school in south Alabama and I love teaching in this type of environment. I have been married to my husband Jason, an Alabama Power Lineman, since 2005 and we have 2 beautiful daughters. Madelyn is 4 and Lacie our Christmas present in 2010! We love spending time with our girls, traveling, going to church, and working on a continuous list of projects!
