I purchased "Ping Pong, What Doesn't Belong" and am having trouble with the worksheet slide. My numbers and the lines where the answers should be written are not lined up correctly. I'm about to post An Egg is an Egg after which I'm jumping ahead to A Frog and Toad. So never fear! :) I have done this before in Unit 1 when I wasn't immediately inspired by one of the stories.
In our district, we'll complete An Egg is an Egg next week and then we STOP until after the holidays. The remaining 2 weeks before Christmas are filled with testing every skill known to mankind.

How very kind! My only wish is that I could measure up to your kind words. :)
In reality, this year is kicking my bottom! I'm exhausted (and more than a little frustrated - with myself) by the conclusion of the day. The goals that I establish for myself are slightly unrealistic and when I fail to meet them I am just plain overwhelmed.
I did not get to complete the unit tonight. How soon will you need it - next week, perhaps? I'm sure I can manage that for you. And p.s... my family did not even receive the gourmet ham sandwich meal! When it was all said and done they were happy to have a bowl of cereal and a granola bar. Winner! Enjoy the remainder of your week and thank you for making my day!

I am about to finish up 2.2, The Farmer in the Hat. For some reason, the long vowels are requiring more time to complete. I, too, use them in my own classroom and I'll need it one week earlier than you! Rest assured, I'm trying my best! :)
