No, sorry about that. I will look into this. Perhaps, find an artist student and have them draw you a monkey. FYI: recently some people have been complaining that this is an inhuman lab,,but I think they take things too seriously.

That is just a conduction of heat through a metal bar. You have a piece of metal (al or copper) and it goes between the two cups...so students have to predict that heat is going to go from the hot to cold cup. You must have seen this - classic experiement - sorry no pic. I hope this helps

It's the most expensive item I purchased and it looks as if parts of it I can definitely use--teach IB Philosophy. But, can't do anything in terms of saving it. Disappointed--can you fix? Otherwise, will have to ask for a refund.

I do have a key - look for the one that cost $9.00 and says "with Key". No its not for the newer ESRT - but I am sure 95% of this still applies. I am not teaching ES this year but I will make a new version soon - I can't not beilieve it would be a big change. This is an awesome packet.

Sorry that the description did not say there was no key - I just change the description. I think you will find it is a very good test. I know its tough being an English teacher and always doing new books.

I hope you are not disappointed - I will add it to the description that there is no key. Even though, I am a science teacher - it looks like a good test especially the part where you have to indicate who is speaking and whom they are speaking to and then state the meaning of the quote...Roy

Interesting...Its a great lab....kids really enjoy the reaction timer. You should be able to reverse engineer one based on freefall...all it is is that each line on the stick is an same amount of time...the spaces between the lines get bigger because the stick is accelerating. In fact, if you have a really bright student(s) see if they can figure it out?

Yes, they need to be water soluable....just get a large variety of random markers and you will find a handfull that will work..then number each marker.

on second inspection, I think the first 3 questions you would want a science teacher but after that its straight forward and any one should get it. I think it would work with a sub. Just have the skip going over the first three questions.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have taught 5 years at a public school - 8th grade Physical Science and 9th grade Earth Science. I have a MSEd from Binghamton University. I am currently teaching and coordinating programs at the Kopernik Observatory in Vestal, New York. See www.kopernik.org All my labs, tests, and worksheets have been actually used in the classroom.
MY TEACHING STYLE
My classes consisted of teaching from a hands-on perspective. Very little lecture. Students did labs and developed skills. I was big on student binders with all their labs and notes. I would allow students to use their science binders on my unit exams. This forced me to make higher level questions and I believed that the students actually learned by taking the tests. My test were very difficult but I also allowed test corrections to give half the points back.

My students always did very well on the state test. Building Mouse trap cars.
