QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
Your power point looks wonderful. Quick question, I haven't purchased it yet, How do you use it? Do you have the children read a "chapter" then refer to the PP? I guess I would love to know how you use this in your class. I teach 6th grade btw.
There is a preview slide that the students would use before reading, but then most of the slides may be used after reading. There are a couple of different options. I usually have my students work in small groups and prong out the slides as a packet. When they are finished with a chapter, I meet with them and they always have something to respond to from part of the slide show. Or if you have an interactive white board, you can pull up the PowerPoint and use it with your whole class and assign certain chapters to the class. The responses can be their "check" that they read and understood.
Sorry to post here but I wasn't sure how else to reach you. Thanks so much for letting me know about my lesson being offered for free on Read Write Think. Could you give me any information about this. I work really hard as a TpT seller (as I know you do too) and it's sad to think someone might share my work without permission.
Thanks so much for any help you can offer,
I was wondering if you could send me a sample page or something so I could see if this would be appropriate for my Special Education classroom. I hate to spend ten dollars if it isn't something they are capable of doing :) Thanks!
