You definitely could, but you'd need to modify it to make it age/level appropriate. It was originally designed for 7-9th graders. You might just need to add some more challenging research questions.

Hello. I think the base project itself could be used in a Spanish Honors class, but maybe there might be a little more expected from them? Like, maybe the project should be presented in Spanish. Or, since it's honors, you could require specific sources only (Spanish sources).Another option is to have specific things you'd like them to find out about their person that are of a more "honors track level." It may need some tweaking, to be honest, because I used it for my 8th graders who've been in Spanish since 2nd grade. So, I hope this helps. You know your classes best, so you should be able to modify it (if you're willing to) to make it high school-ready. Thanks.

Hola. To save time, I usually write the infinitives across the x-axis (on a slant). Infinitives go across both sides. The left game board is for student A to plot his or her ships. The right game board is for student A to chart the hits or misses in the game. I don't have a completed version of the game because it would be really hard to type in on a slant to add infinitives. I can give you an example: let's say we're learning AR verbs, write verbs like hablar, cantar, cocinar, etc on the left side of the board on the x-axis. Then, copy the same verbs in he same order on the right side of the board. If it's student A's turn, they pick a coordinate they'd like to guess by saying "Yo hablo." This tells student B that they're guessing where yo and hablar meet on the board. Then, student A would record whether it was a hit or a miss on the right side of their paper. It is then student B's turn, and so on. I hope this makes sense. If not, please let me know. Thanks!
