Hi Linda~I can't see if you mention anything about the tracing pages missing from the second bundle of sight words (5-8). It says they should be there but I don't see them.
Thanks,
Sarah

When you say the second level, are you asking about Level 2, the Primer Level? The word tracing pages are pages 22-33 on that set… Please let me know if you still cannot find them. Level 3 has handwriting tracing pages as well. However, levels 4 and 5 do not have tracing pages… they are replaced by more challenging activities. I hope this helps. Please e-mail me at lindapost.edu@gmail.com, and let me know if you still have questions. Thank you, and take care. Linda Post

Hi Thanks so much for using the "Ask A Question" feature. This file is a Microsoft Word File and utilizes the fonts called "Cambria" and "Comic Sans". Do you have those fonts on your computer? You could try dragging the file to the trash, and then go to your MY PURCHASES tab and download it again. OR, I can e-mail the file to you, and see if it is better. My e-mail is lindapost.edu@gmail.com This one of my very best sellers, and has had 326 ratings of 4.0, so I am not sure why the problems you are describing are occurring. Thanks again, and please let me know how you make out. If you are unable to use it, I will gladly send you another product for free… Just e-mail me with your choice. My goal is too always have customers who are 100% satisfied. Take care. Linda Post

I don't know if my previous question got out to you. TPT was trying to get me to not leave feedback on technical issues, but I don't know how else to solve this. I bought the product but the last line on each comment is cut off and therefore can't be printed on labels. What do I need to do to use the product or get my money back?

I think that trying to open it with Open Office 3 could be the problem. Do you have access to a computer with Microsoft Word? It was created in MSWord. That's why TpT always tells you the name of the program you need to open files before purchasing. I am so sorry this happened. I would be happy to send you another product free of charge if you can't use this. Just e-mail me with your choice at lindapost.edu@gmail.com. I hope you can find a computer with MS Word, and then just go online to TpT and download the file on that computer. It should open fine for you. Please let me know how you make out. I just left you a question, but it was the wrong product title. The title is: Back To School Desk Name Plates-Fold-3 sided Tri-Fold Flippable-Type Your Names! When I do a search for it on your product list, it's not there, but the picture on my product is the same as the one I asked about in the previous question (back to school name plates...) Thanks, Lisa

Hi,
I bought Back To School Desk Name Plates-MS Word Schoolhouse Font-Type Names! a year ago, and didn't even realize I bought them until I made some other purchases today. I downloaded them, but when I opened them up it's not the same font as the one you used, so what do I need to do to make it look like yours? Rather, what font did you use, so it will show up like yours? Thanks,
Lisa

Hi Linda, I did not do what I was supposed to do and I downloaded your diplomas but unable to open word documents. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to make a pdf. of the kindergarten one and email it to me? If you are unable to do this I understand. I should have been more careful. If you are able to, my email address is mmcclain@sanjuan.edu. Thank you!

Ashley L. re: Back To School
Hi Linda
I just received my first job offer to teach kindergarten. I will be teaching at an on reserve aboriginal school without a lot of teaching resources. Im am thrilled to have be given the opportunity to teach at this high risk school but my lack of resources to get me started is ...well lets just say non existent. Would you be interested in donating this package to me so I can bulk up my kindergarten resources?? Since this is my first job I do not have a lot extra money for teacher supplies. I would be so very grateful for any teaching tools you would be able to help me with. Hoping you could help make my first year of teaching kindergarten successful.
Thank You so Much. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Kathleen A. re: Name Labels Type in Schoolhouse Font-Multipurpose Set 1
Hello. Your labels are lovely and I will be using them in some form. I am wondering if it would be possible to provide an option of names with no graphics or perhaps one graphic in black and white? This is to save money on ink. Thank you for your work.

Hi, I am excited about the name plate I just purchased but when I downloaded it, I noticed it was not the type (printing) that it showed. I do not like the typed "a" that it came with and thought I bought the one that looked like a simple handwritten "a". Could you help me with this?

Good morning! I am a first grade teacher, formerly PK teacher. I just finished my masters in May (yea!) with a degree in Mind, Brain and Education – a subfield of education. The first program was started at Harvard by Howard Gardner and Kurt Fisher (if you haven’t read any of Kurt Fisher’s work on Skill Theory and you are interested in the cognitive processes involved in learning, you must read his work!)

Cut to the chase. When I moved up from PK to 1st I was shocked by my students’ lack of number sense. I spent an entire year and all last summer trying to figure out what was missing. In Nov I attended a workshop that on number sense. When I heard the presentation I recognized all the “big” names of the research I had been investigating. The workshop was a training session for an iPad app (Native Numbers). It seemed like a valid, robust app, but I am a skeptic and had to know: would this really work.

I am here to tell you that with the first skill set I saw every cognitive model of learning embedded in this app. I also realized that this app is more than a learning tool; it has built in formative and summative assessment as it is adaptive and levels up and down based on student performance and leads to mastery.

Now I am on a “mission” – everything we read tells us our students are lacking number sense. I believe this app is a fabulous tool to remediate those deficits. I have no vested interest in this app except that I am one of those people that has to solve problems and when I think I have found possible answers, I have to share that with others. Our kids are too important not to share---which is why I love reading blogs! I am asking for teachers to simply read the research and then try out the app and give me feedback---or give the feedback yourself to the developers. I am that convinced. I am not a salesman and I feel quite strange in this new role I have taken upon myself…but I have nothing to lose, or gain, except knowing that maybe we can have an enormous impact on our students!

If you have any questions, please e-mail me at tatergraderswife@yahoo.com Check out the app at www.nativebrain.com – you can find the background of the developers and read about the research behind the app. You can also watch a video on that site or go to these YouTube links:

I just purchased your Back to School Nameplates for MS Word with the Schoolhouse Font. Obviously I was way too excited about finding editable nameplates, and I bought them without realizing that I do not have the schoolhouse font. I was under the impression that this was a MS Word font, but quickly realized I was mistaken. I found your other set with the "Print Clearly" font and downloaded that free font, but it doesn't help me for what I have already purchased. Do you have any advice? Or where can I find this schoolhouse font? I greatly appreciate your help!

Hi, I can send you the Print Clearly font set for free via e-mail. Just send me your e-mail address, and I will send it to you. Be sure to tell me exactly which name plate by sending me the URL for it. My e-mail is lindapost.edu@gmail.com. I would also like to offer you another product of your choice for free for using the "Ask a Question" feature. Some people simply give the product a low rating when they have an issue, but you took the time to inquire. Thank you. Take care. Linda Post
