I have been anxiously awaiting this unit all year. The questions are excellent and make the students think about their answer. They will be a good transition next year from our state assessment to PARCC the next year as we are moving from multiple choice to open ended.

I downloaded graphing linear equations with color worksheet yesterday and began using it with my students. I thought you would like to know that there is an "error," unless you planned to have duplicate problems. On the worksheet between the lines, #3 is not the same problem that appears on the answer key. Going by the worksheet, the, that makes #'s 3 and 11 duplicates. I do not yet know how this may affect the graphing and questions afterword. Perhaps you have already discovered this and have a new graphing key? You can contact me at lhansel@puc.edu

You can contact TpT and ask - however the checklists are listed with a link to the product included in the description for the bundle. The description for the checklists also has a link to the bundle. Everything in the bundle purchased individually would be $49, so even with the extra $4 you spent, you still saved a bunch on the rest of the resources!

Even though I don't use a textbook, I still have to follow the scope and sequence for my county. I'm told what to teach and when - but I use my own materials and do it my way! Most of my holiday themed resources I plan to revise to be used any time of year so it's more suitable for everyone and not just myself!

So just checkout the list of resources to see what you'd be duplicating. I think it may just be an activity or two. Otherwise - it is a completely different resource from the 6th grade CC bundle!

My classroom situation was a little different. When I was a regular classroom teacher, I taught 3 blocks of 90 minutes. I had about 70-80 students. At least one class was SpEd so I always had two other teachers in the room. For the last 3 years (I'm on a leave of absence this year) I was a math intervention teacher and had small groups 6-8 so I was able to provide individualized instruction!

When I printed it it printed with some of the words in random symbols. Do you have any idea how to fix this? I am not sure why it is doing it or how to fix it. I wanted to buy a few other games, but if they are going to print funny too I need to know how to fix it before I buy more!

I loved your inequalities station activities. They were a perfect review for my class today. I wanted to point out an error and make two requests. First, on the answer key for station 1, the ordered pair (0,0) makes the inequality 0 < -4 and that is not true so the answer should be no, it is not a solution.
My requests:
The fourth problem on station 4 was confusing to my students because there is no solution. After distributing, each side has 8m and so they cancel each other out. Would you be willing to change that problem so there is a 2m or 4m or something on the right side so it can be solved? I am using it for 6th grade and my students are not ready to have "no solution" =).
Finally, because I am trying to use it for 6th grade would you be willing to change the 5th and 6th problem on station three so there is no multiplying of negative numbers. I think it you were to offer both options it would expand the grades that could use the packet and might be useful for differentiating. I hope you are not offended because I do love the activity, just thought I'd make these suggestions.

I'm currently finishing up 6th grade CCSS stuff and will then move onto 7th, followed by 8th. I'm not sure when exactly I will get to 8th grade, but hopefully by the summer!

At this time there are not full unit assessments. The mini assessments could be used together for a full unit test if you wished. I will look into adding unit assessments!

For Day 11:
#2 is asking for the perimeter. You would add 13+13+8+8+15 to get 57 for the answer. We don't add the 6 or the other 15 because they are interior measurements.
#4 is asking for area. I actually had this one incorrect - so thank you! You would add the two bases, 11+18 and divide the sum by two. You would then take that answer (14.5) x the height (14) for an answer of 203.
#4 is asking for area as well. The area of the rectangle at the bottom is 8x15=120 and the area of the triangle at the top is 1/2x15x6=45. The total area of the shape is 120+45=165.
Day 14

I love your resources although probably not using them as well as I could be. 90 students in 3 classes is a bit overwhelming with common core and state tests mid- April.

After spending 8 years as a classroom teacher and Middle School Math Intervention Teacher I am currently on a leave of absence, spending more time with my children.
