TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I am just now finishing up my 5th year of teaching high school math. I have taught remedial math classes for freshman and seniors. I have taught Algebra 2 the for the last 5 years. This year I started teaching Algebra 1 for the first time. I surprisingly really enjoy teaching freshman, but teaching a couple of Algebra 2 classes are definitely a blessing.
MY TEACHING STYLE
Taking a few trainings on Best Practices in Math through Teachers' Development Group, I have began to implement a lot more hands-on activities and student discourse.
