Hi Lisa,
I was wondering if your guide offers any puzzles or similar activities that can be used as kind of a break, but still keep the student(s) on track.

I can't say there are puzzles buy there are activities to do as a large class. For example, they hold a program of the "hot seat" just like they do in the book with their classmates. But no crossword puzzles. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks for taking the time to look over my product!
