I based it off of my first grade story town writing lessons from my teachers edition, but I am sure you could work on it with your kinder kids. I pull it up on my smartboard as well as have them use the weekly packets and we work on them together. You can make it into individual writing or whole group since you are working with younger kids, but with this, my students don't complain about having to do writing anymore because a lot of it allows them to illustrate pictures for their writing!! Hope this helps!!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I will be starting my fifth year of teaching in August...I have taught several grades including Kindergarten, First grade, third grade... last year I was back in Kindergarten and next year I will be back in first grade. I really enjoy being a "floating teacher"...I learn learn a lot and it keeps me on my toes!
MY TEACHING STYLE
I like to have my classroom be a mixture of student centered as well as teacher directed. I strive to make my classroom a fun, safe learning environment for all of my students.

I have recently graduated from Capella University with my Masters degree in Reading and Literacy. I look forward to implementing my new ideas and learnings into my everyday classroom
MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
I received my Bachelors degree from Mayville State University in 2008. I graduated with a major in Elementary Education, minor in early childhood education, with a Kindergarten endorsement. I graduated from Capella University in 2012 with my Masters degree in Reading and Literacy.
ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
I work in a small school in small town North Dakota. I have taught Kindergarten, first grade, and third grade. Last year I was back in Kindergarten and what an exciting year it was! Next year I will be back teaching first grade and I am so looking forward to it! :)
