Thank you for including an exemplar ready to go! I modified construction just a bit because I didn't have the large construction paper size, so we two-hole-punched and used a pipe-cleaner embellished with beads to bind the pages together.

I love the graphic organizer. It's easy to use, clean looking and I really like the 1st, 2nd then 3rd final/attempt to problem solving. My second grade class had to think what happened first, next, then last. I also like the lined paper and handwriting paper. I gave my students a chance to choose either paper. They really liked that.

There are three packets in the $14 bundle for opinion, narrative, and informative writing. Each packet contains two similar writing projects. You can use one of each for a guided writing project and the second for an independent writing assessment. The $10 bundle has one project each for opinion, narrative, and informative. That bundle has a few more brainstorming activities, but the project format is very similar to the $14 packet. Of the two, I would probably recommend the $10 bundle for 2nd grade because the informative project in that bundle is a bit more challenging than the informative projects in the $14 bundle. The entire 2nd grade in my school recently finished that project and their awesome writing is displayed all down our hallways! Thank you so much for your interest in my products!

I'm glad the writing lessons were so useful for you! I think that a lot of my 1st/2nd grade projects could be easily modified for kinder. I will get to work on more of the kinder lessons, though. I'm working on some end-of-the-year projects for other grade levels now, and then I'll get to it. I need a couple more kinder lessons for the end of May myself!

The Opinion Writing Packet contains two complete writing projects. You could teach both projects or use one as a guided lesson and the other for an assessment. The writing topics for the Opinion Writing Packet are the best fruit and the best outdoor activity.
The Opinion Writing Project contains only one writing project which is similar in format to the others. The writing topic of the Opinion Writing Project is the best ice cream.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I'm extremely fortunate to have 750+ students! I'm a specialist teacher at my elementary school, and I work with every student, kindergarten through 5th grade. Developing and teaching Common Core writing lessons is my focus. I've been in my current position for a total of three years. Before that I taught 2nd grade for five years and 3rd grade for nine years. I'll be adding lots of writing projects that I'm currently implementing as well as digging through my files for my favorite projects and units from when I was a classroom teacher. I look forward to sharing my ideas with you!
