Hi, this is not a zip file it is a notebook file for the smartboard. I would try clearing your cache for your Internet program. You could also try to open your notebook application first and then open your file via the program. Or, right click on the downloaded file and select the notebook program to open it instead of letting your computer choose how to open the file (which does not seem to be working for you). Hi Amanda - I am sorry you are having this difficulty. My file is a standard powerpoint file. I have tried downloading it myself and it appears that TPT is adding a .doc extension to the file (so it reads .ppt.doc). I tried re-uploading the file and am at this point still experiencing this issue. I will contact TPT to have them resolve this issue. The file is much too large for me to email. What I did just now as a work around - I found the downloaded file and renamed as a .ppt then instead of double clicking, I selected the file to be associated and opened with PowerPoint. I had not difficulty with the presentation when I opened it this way.

The items provided in this package will give you a complete unit as it includes HW, Labs, presentations, notes, activities, quiz questions, vocabulary and exams. Hi Sam, This bundle contains lessons on the topics of ecology, ecosystems, and the environment. There are no lessons on Evolution within this bundle. This bundle was written for High School & middle students. However, Ecology is usually one of the easier topics in Biology and lessons in this bundle could be easily adapted for lower grade levels.

Hi Jason, You have a couple options - the first is printint out an "outline" of the powerpoint presentation and use that as your script or purchase the student outline for this presentation. The student outline comes with a "Teacher key" version that could also be used as a script for this PowerPoint. Lisa Michalek

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

MY TEACHING STYLE
We have found that nearly all students prefer to receive and discuss new topics via PowerPoint (compared to reading textbooks, lectures, or copying information off of the board). Teachers are able to print off and have a notebook with all the PowerPoint slides for students who need to take a second look at a slide or who are absent for the day.
