I just purchased this product and the description led me to believe that there was much more included than binder covers and group names. Am I missing something? Please help!!

Try downloading it again! It should be a zip file with 11 files inside the folder! If you have any questions please let me know. That has happened to me one other time. I am so sorry! There is way more than just binder covers and group names!!

Denise Murphy re: Team Mats for Table Groups of 4! Cooperative Learning 70s Theme
Hello again!

I love the mats you created in the 70's theme for me...thank you! I do have a question about printing, however. When I printed out the orange copy, I am getting lines through the boxes. It doesn't do that on the other colors I have printed (red, green, blue...I am using the latest version of Adobe Reader, as well). I haven't tried the rest because I ran out of card stock. If you have any suggestions before I print out the remaining mats, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you again!

I'm going to upload a new file. If it still doesn't work, I'll email you the PowerPoint. When I print them out, they look fine.

Denise Murphy re: Team Mats for Table Groups of 4! Management Cooperative Learning
Hello!
My name is Denise and I am a cooperative learning junkie. I love these place mats, as I do believe they will stay cleaner longer than just using number cards! I was wondering if you could customize some for me? I always use a "hippie" theme in my class. I do a lot peace signs, flower power, neon colors, etc. I was hoping you could color code and put some cute designs on them for me. I always use the colors of the rainbow to name my teams so if you could color code them accordingly that would be awesome. Here's what I was thinking as far as how the team numbers and colors would appear:

Team 1= Neon Red
Team 2= Neon Orange
Team 3= Neon Yellow
Team 4= Neon Green
Team 5= Neon Blue
Team 6= Neon Purple
Team 7= Neon Pink
Team 8= Neon (any purply/pink color would do...I called this team "pinkle" in the past)

Let me know your thoughts on doing these. I greatly appreciate your time!!!

Thank you so much,
Denise Murphy

Partners in Learning  (TpT Seller)
Thank you so much for your posting and I left this message on the forum! Something we found successful was inviting the children’s librarian from the local public library to our school. I did this during school time and parents were invited to participate. The librarian arrived with a carload of books and library cards so students could become members and borrow the books. I did a demonstration on how to read with kids and the parents were given handouts (see our parent printables in our store) as well as literature regarding the summer programs offered at the library during the summer. I have had similar sessions right after school, at dismissal time, and also in the early evening. They have always been well received. It seems that once the parents and their children met the children’s librarian they were inclined to return the books at a time when they could meet again and get guidance in choosing more books. The parents had an opportunity to ask about the summer programs and were open to the idea of enrolling their children. The parent printables available through our TPT store were written based on our many years of having such meetings with parents.

Bridget,
Either I did not get the "directions" page or just can't find it. I am having trouble figuring out how to get the dropdown boxes to work.

Thanks,

Do you have Microsoft Excel 2010? You should be able to click on cell A2. As soon as you click on the cell, the drop down box will appear.

On any of the worksheets (Monday-Friday), A2, A3, B1, B2, B3, C1, C2, C3, D1, D2, and D3 all will have drop down boxes if you click on them.

Email me at bridget331@gmail.com, and I can give you my cell phone number and I will walk you through it.

Scipi
Scipi  (TpT Seller) re: Reading Comprehension Bookmarks K-3
I saw your posting on the Sellers Forum page of Teachers Pay Teachers; so, I thought I would look at your freebie. Since you are looking for feedback, here are a few suggestions that might help you to better market your products.

First, move your directions or suggestions to the second page. List several ways you use this product in your classroom. Never assume that a buyer knows how, why, or when to use your product.

Use the footer to put the copyright symbol, your name and date of creation on EVERY page. Items, especially free ones, have been "stolen" from TPT and posted on other sites to be sold. You have to protect all of your creations. Here is how to do that. Use the insert and go to the right. You should see symbols there. Insert the copyright symbol, your name and date. It should look something like this: © V. Rauch (Scipi), 2011 Also, number your pages.

As for followers, that takes a great deal of time. My first year on TPT, I only made a little over $150 and had few followers. This is my fourth year, and I have over 500 followers and recieve a check every quarter. It just takes lots of time and work. There is no fast track to success. After all, you are competing with over 14,000 other sellers.

Since it is important that we see what others are doing; feel free to look at any or all of my freebies listed below to gather some ideas. If you care to, a rating or any feedback you might have would be great.

Welcome to TPT, and good luck with selling!
