TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught PK for 4 years; 2 of which were at a Title 1 school in Macon, GA. I have taught 4th grade for the past 4 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Interactive, hands on, rarely "sitting and being quiet". Unconventional, innovative, and always looking at Ron Clark and Kim Bearden from The Ron Clark Academy for some amazing teaching ideas!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Numerous academic awards in college. My greatest award is actually a reward. The honor I receive from teaching and seeing the LIGHTBULB!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from Hope International University in Fullerton, CA in 2005, with a BS in Human Development. Grad School: Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from Wesleyan College in Macon, GA in 2011.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love God, I love my husband, and I love my 2 amazing children. I stayed home with my kids when they were young. I did not graduate from college until age 35. I followed my dream to become a teacher, with the help and support of my amazing family.
