I purchased the 2nd grade May Math Stations Common Core and used it at the end of the year. It was a great review and worked wonderful when they were restless those last weeks of school. A couple of questions. I bought 3 more of the months stations and they have the booklet and cover in them. I wondered how you use it differently than just the worksheet that goes with each station and why it was not in the May packet. Also, I am trying to get things ready for next year and wondered how you work these with the math lessons. I always taught one concept at a time. For example we would go into depth on measuring, fractions etc. How do you do everything at once so that they can work the stations? We are doing the core but do not have the curriculum to go with it. I have gotten your stations and I downloaded Georgia's math on-line to the core that will help me but just wondered how you do it. We used to just use the Scott Foresman Math Series and work through that.

I crated the booklet to save paper and help the kids with organization. I plan to create to booklet for each set. I have a specific topic I cover but actually use the stations all year. It's amazing how the kids figure things out on their own. Of course I answer questions but they are pretty amazing. Then when we actually cover that specific concept they are able to chime in a bit more and share their experiences. I also use the Daily Math each morning to help with the process.

I really do love all of your stuff and appreciate your hard work! Again, I was cutting out my pieces and I have a question. On the rhyme time game board/pieces. I have the snake piece and the skate box on the gameboard. Is there a rhyme for those two? I have tried to match up the pieces with the board, but maybe I am not using the right words. Please help!

As I was cutting out all of your wonderful items this afternoon, I found a mistake on one of the word problems. It doesn't sound right and the answer 14 does not match up with the problem. It is near the end of the set. The numbers in the problem are 6 and 7. Can you please redo the word problem to make it sound right and equal 14? Thanks!

Sorry to bother you about your math centers again. That you for your quick response on my previous question. That center packet will be great! Do you know which other centers will have the rest of the centers in them. The things I will still need (just off the top of my head) are basic addition/subtraction, double digit addition/subtraction with and without regrouping, place value, and fact families. I'm weary of purchasing a holiday themed pack because I do not know if I will be using that center during the holiday month. Can you point me in the directions of the centers I need to look at? I just purchased 'My 1st Grade Writing Journal' and the prompts do not show up. They have a black line where the prompt should be. The writing lines are there not the prompt. Let me know what can be done to get the prompts and a complete packet.

One more fix for you, on page 145 (64=6 tens = 4 ones) box...the options for them to choose from do not add up to 64. I would like to reprint these to get them ready for next year. Can you let me know when you have made the fix please? Thanks for the QUALITY products! LOVE THEM!

I just purchased the Summer Math pack. It looks great, but as I was reading through the directions, it appears that there is a mistake on Gumballs Galore. The directions say to add 100 to the number you get when you spin the spinner. There are no coordinating numbers on the student score space. I think the directions should say subtract 100. Am I right?

You got the whole package. When copied back to back and folded it creates a trifold! This is what the kids use with a bag of m&ms. The description says 2 pages to create a trifold. I'm sorry you didn't understand that before you bought this $1.00 purchase. I believe $1 for 30 minute math review was a great deal. Didn't mean to cause any frustration.

I'd really like to use this in my classroom, but I'm having trouble with the photos on pages 2 and the bottom of 3. Everything else is fine, but those two pix are blurred. I even updated my Adobe files. Can you email me a better copy? My second graders are weak with facts and this is such a wonderful way to get them on track. Thank you!

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I love my days!! Mother by morning, teacher by afternoon and mom by night. I have taught second grade for the past 19 years. I am truly living my childhood dream. I love helping my kiddos engage and explore for more knowledge and opportunities.

After teaching district math classes and writing the 2nd grade math curriculum for the district... I realized my great love of math.
