I wondered if there were any Aussies on TpT. I definitely will look into those links you sent me. I am returning to the classroom after almost 6 years away from it raising a family and working part-time at University. My old resources have mostly been lost or chucked so I'm busily rebuilding everything for the start of the year. Great to know that there will be things I can look at from an Australian perspective. I have taught in many different settings and age groups including 5 years prep (kinder) 2 years in first grade, 5 years in second grade, 1 year in third grade and 2 years in 5th grade. I have also taught at university to education students studying to become teachers for the last three years. I am an Australian teacher so my spelling is at times different to yours but not necessarily incorrect.
Hands on and authentic.

I am an Australian so occasionally there will be some cultural differences in terms of what I put up. For instance, we don't celebrate Thanks Giving and you wouldn't celebrate Australia Day. All part of our wonderful diversity but needs to be said in case there is confusion.
